<big>How did I let myself fall so deep into this? Why didn't I listen to the many warnings; his and my own? I'm pinned between death and a cold stone wall with no means of escape. There is no escape from this horrible dream...nightmare...I've fallen into.

I can taste the blood in my mouth; feel the burning pain of my wounds. I stopped shaking, my hands are steady. I'm frozen in place, completely unable to move.

A pair of glowing eyes peer at me from the shadow's cover. I snap my eyes shut, trying to focus on only one thing.

His face.

His beautiful face that I will never see again. The thought stung. I tried to remember his sweet voice. It seemed like so long since I'd last heard it. It soothed me. Made me forget my approching death.

But only for a moment. I was brought back to the narrow, deserted street by the low rummble comming from his chest. His ferocious growl.

"Open your eyes, Jamie," he purred seductivly. "It's no fun if I can't see the light leave your beautiful green eyes." His icy hand secured itself under my chin as he softly stroked my cheek with his thumb. A shiver traveled down my spine.

My eyelids drifted open unwillingly to find his face just inches from my own, smirking evilly. I didn't flich away as I should have. I merely stood there in silence and waited. Waited to wake up screaming. But, this time, I couldn't.
