Introducing Life Part 13

When Joselyn and I got home, Joni was sitting on my bed reading. It looked like there was something wrong with her, but apparently she was just really into her book.

    “Hey what time did you get home?” I asked
    “Uhm, a little while ago. I went to a friends house for awhile.” she said
    “Oh that’s cool!” I said
    “Where have you two been?” Joni asked
    “Oh just walking around, needed a breather for awhile.” Joselyn said a little hesitantly.
    “Right, you guys snuck away to go smoke, gotchya!” she said smiling.
    “You got us” I replied.

    Joselyn and I went upstairs to make something to eat. All that revenge made us hungry. My phone started to ring and Joseyln went over to pick it up for me.

    “It’s Trent!” Joselyn said a little hyped up.
    “I wonder what he wants… Hello?” I asked
    “What happened?” pause, “ Oh that’s funny! How did that happen?” I giggled to myself.
    “Yeah, I bet he was mad, I guess you could blame that on Karma, Right?” I said, I couldn’t help myself, I busted out laughing!
    “Okay, yeah, ill talk to you later. See yah!” I replied and hung up the phone.
    “What did he say?” Asked Joselyn.
    “Haha, he was telling me about what happened to Jon’s car. Apparently his phone and a pack of cigarettes are missing.” I laughed.
    “Ohhh, speaking of his phone, lets explore it!” she said with an evil grin.
   

    Joselyn opened up Jon’s phone and he had 3 new text messages.

    Text From: Mandy.
   
    “Hmm, lets see what Paige has to say first!” Joselyn said.

    Text From: Paige- Jon, seriously u need 2 talk 2 me soon. I miss u and I luv u! Plz help me deal with this!

    “Weird, she is kind of obsessed don’t yah think?” I asked
    “No what’s worse is the next text from her. I don’t know if we should read anymore.” Joselyn said
    “No, what?!” I asked kind of shocked she wanted to stop.
    “Ok, but I warned you!” she said
   
    Text From Paige- Jon, we need 2 talk, I’m pregnant! I no its urs! Y didn’t u come over last nite like u said u would?

    “Oh! You have go to be kidding me!” I yelled!
    “Wow, but get this next one..” she went on

    Text From: Mandy- Hey baby! It was nice seeing you last night, cant wait for tonight! It’ll be an even steamier session than last night!

    “Oh my gosh, Player? Nah.. “ I joked
    “How does he do it? Well what have we learned about him in the last couple of days, He’s an abusive violent drunk who talks back to teachers and gets suspended as well as being a player and soon to be daddy! Hahaha!” Joselyn joked.
    “Wow, yeah and I like him! Who is the real idiot here?” I asked while laughing.
    “Let’s read all of his texts.” Joselyn said

    Text From: Gina- Hey, I had fun at ur party! Cant wait til you throw another! Wats with that gf of urs, she left pretty upset. I guess it wrked in my favor tho.
    Text From: Riley-I had a great time the other night. Cant wait 4 ur part babe.
    Text From: Riley-Yeah, what time do u want us there?
    Text From: Riley-We will get there as soon as we can. =)
    Text From: Joni- I don’t know Jon, Kenz likes you a lot. U dnt need nethin from me.

    “Hmm, interesting. So, the thing with Riley was planned, he’s trying to hit on Joni and not only that but he has a lot of girls who he is in like with.” I said
    “Yeah he does. You never had sex with him did you?” Joselyn asked.
    “No. I’m still a virgin you know that!” I said
    “Yeah, I know, he just seems like the type a guy who can convince people easily. I knew you were smarter than that though.” Joselyn stated.

    My mom walked into the kitchen and stopped to talk to Joselyn and I.

    “Hey girls! So, I ran into Jon downtown today. I invited him over for dinner tomorrow night. I don’t know what you did to him Kenzie, but the boy likes you a lot!”
    “What?! You invited him over here? Mom, why would you do that? Him and I aren’t dating anymore!” I yelled.
    “Kenzie, don’t forget Joni lives in this house too! They have been friends too.” My mom said
    “What?! Mom, no they haven’t she doesn’t even like him!” I said pretty pissed off.
    “I talked to Joni about it today and she said she didn’t mind him coming over. So be nice when he gets here, he is a good guy.” She said stern.
    “Mom, what the hell is wrong with you? This is my life, and you have no right inviting people I don’t like over here! Joni wouldn’t accept it either, she doesn’t like him for the same reason I do!” I screamed!
    “Well she acted excited when I told her, so deal with it! And no, not everything is about you.” she stated.
   
    I grabbed Joselyn and walked downstairs to my room. I was so pissed off, I couldn’t believe my mom and Joni. What the hell did Joni have to do with Jon? This is pathetic I kept thinking to myself. How very pathetic!

    “What the hell is the matter with you?!” I yelled at Joni.
    “What do you mean?” she asked innocently
    “Why did you tell mom it was okay for Jon to come over tomorrow night for dinner? You know how I feel about him!” I said
    “Yeah, but Kenzie, come on.. Maybe you can work something out with him. He didn’t do anything to me, I don’t have to stop being his friend.” she said
    “Yeah, but its like the number one rule of friends, you don’t keep talking to an ex that your friends have dated if your friend hates them!” I shouted.
    “Kenzie, I understand your mad at him and angry with me, but I can be friends with whoever I want.” She shouted back
    “You just don’t understand do you?” I was screaming now
    “Just deal with it Kenzie!” she screamed back at me

    I walked out of my room. How the hell could she do this? She knows how I feel about him and why would she invite him over? Ughh, I was so pissed. Then, I thought to myself, we will just wait and see about tomorrow. I am the one who holds more revenge on him then he can handle.
