Introducing Life Part 11

“Your not scared of breaking the law are you?” I asked Joselyn “Your kiddin…” she began laughing but I interrupted. “Nope- I didn’t think so!” I laughed “ You know how Jon normally keeps his car doors unlocked?” I asked “Yeah.” Joselyn said hesitantly. “And you know how he has to have his E-brake on at all times?!” I asked “And he always parks on the hill up by Trent’s house?” she already got the hint. “You in?” I asked her “Of course! Under one condition though.” she said “And what’s that?!” I was curious. “I want to see his reaction when his car goes Buh-Bye!” she said with a smirk. “Oh definitely.. And a camera to take a picture of his reaction and lets record it!” I laughed. “Wanna take it a bit further?” Joselyn asked me. “Sure.” “Well, we kind of need Joni’s help with this.” Joselyn said “Should we call her? I’m sure she’s at home.” I said “NO!” she shouted…”WAIT! Lets walk to your house today instead of mine, I have an idea!” Joselyn was apparently proud of what she just thought. “ Ok.. I’m excited to see where this is going!” I said We turned around and began walking to my house. Joselyn called her parents to let them know what she was going to my house. She would be home by dark. Her parents didn’t like her walking home from my house after dark, even though we’re 15, they still worry. I don’t blame them I guess. It’s not like we lived in a dangerous neighborhood, actually one of the safest. We got to my house and surprisingly Joni wasn’t there. “Perfect!” Joselyn shouted overly excited. Joselyn walked to my room and pulled out something from Joni’s side of the closet. “Remember this?” Joselyn asked smiling. “Remember when Jon brought it over so we could all play?” It was Jon’s play station that he adored so much! I remember when we all begged him one night if we could borrow it and play since we didn’t have one yet. He loved that play station because for the first time in his life, he actually worked for it and bought something for himself. Since my parents bought us our own already, we didn’t really have much use for his anymore. “I think she still has a couple of his games too, including his new one!” I said “Here they all are!” Joselyn exclaimed! “We’ll just keep these for a later time.” “Sounds good to me! Hurry, lets hide them on my side of the closet before Joni gets here! Where is she anyways?” “Beats me, with as sensitive as she is, she is probably talking things out with Riley!” Joselyn said. “Well, in that case, I’m hoping she is defending our case!” I laughed. Joselyn called her parents again and told them we had a lot more studying then we thought. She made up a story about us having a test tomorrow and she would just stay the night so we could study everything. Her parents bought it. We waited until it got dark outside and then we headed towards Trent’s. I guess you could say we knew him well enough that he would keep inviting Jon over for their boys night. Although Trent was good to us, he didn’t like having beef with people. Somehow we just knew he would try to tame Jon if he kept a friendship with him. We got to Trent’s street, and sure enough, Jon’s car was sitting there. In the same spot as usual, just waiting for us.
