Being a cat wasn't half bad. I got treated with more respect than I normally did, I got scratched behind the ears and a storekeeper gave me a juicy fish as I was passing through the city. Which I do have to compliment on the city, it was beautiful. Not like back in my dimension. I was searching for a history book on the area since Bellatrix obviously wasn't gonna help me find a way back. She has been too busy with that dumbass, Jerremy. What I'd do to kill him. He thinks he can pick on me for being a small little cat. He'll see, I'll show him. I'll show them all. I'll find a way to turn me back to normal and then find a way to get us home, even if it means killing. I clenched my jaw as I walked.

"It's a kitty!" I looked up to see a young boy, about seven maybe, squeal and pick me up. Cleary he was a vampire; he had crimson eyes, reddish brown hair and pale skin. The only question I had was, why does he have me in his grasp? I let out a loud, "MEOW!" As he tucked me under his arm and took off at a neck breaking speed. "Hold on, little kitty." He said as he suddenly turned a corner. "Meow..." My stomach began to churn and I tightly closed my eyes. He finally stopped running, but kept a fast pace. I looked up to see people flying past us. We were still going too fast to keep myself from getting sick. He suddenly stopped in front of a store, which wasn't helping my stomach. He opened the door and walked in and slammed the door behind him. "Hey, Keith!" He called and a tall, pale guy who looked to be around eighteen, nineteen maybe, appeared out of thin air. "What? Get that vermin out of my shop." He demanded. Vermin? Does he think I'm a rodent? "I'm not vermin! I'm lycanthrope, thank you very much!" I said, he looked at me funny. "A confused, talking kitten." He snatched me from the other guy and held me by the scruff of my neck, which didn't feel very pleasant. "How cute!" He squeezed me against his chest in a hug, which didn't feel too good either. "Uh, Keith? The little boy questioned. "Let me go!" I squealed. He stopped and looked at the boy. "Go play." He said. "But I found the kitty." The boy whined. "It's an evil kitty that will eat your fingers." He said and the boy took off out the door. I'm an evil cat that will eat your fingers? Yeah, that's a nice thing to be telling a little kid.

He set me on the ground. "Sorry about that." He kneeled down on one knee and I gazed up at him. He had beautiful lavender colored eyes, jet black hair, and long white fangs that showed when he talked. "Cats are my weak spot." He chuckled. "I'm not a cat!" I growled. "Sure you aren't." He petted my head. "Whatever. I need to find a history book. So I'll be on my way." I turned away from him and looked around the shop. A book store. How ironically queer? "You're in my bookstore. And I happen to carry books, with history in them." He sounded amused. "Do you... have a certain history book on the area?" I asked him hesitantly, and he smirked. "I do happen to have one of those." He said, and then he walked off, out of my sight.

Then it dawned on me. I have no currency. I walked down one of the shelf aisle too see him quickly scanning the shelves, one by one. "Ah, here we go." He pulled a giant text book off the shelf and walked to me. "British History." He set it in front of me. British History?! Did we even leave the planet?! "Uh, thanks, but could you hold it for a bit. I gotta get one of my bigger friends to help me carry it back." I said. "I could help you carry it. It would be so much faster." He suggested. "Well, I don't have any money either." I let out a nervous chuckle."It's a gift." He smiled. "Are you sure? I mean it is a fairly old book. It's pretty much an antique and worth more then-" He cut in. "Don't worry about it. No one would want it any way." He said and picked up the book off the floor. He smiled a sweet smile that showed his white teeth. “Alright then. If you say so.” I said and went to the door. He pushed it open and I walked out and he was right behind me.

I kept a fast pace and he was right behind me. He got to the side of me and looked down at me. “You seem confident in where you’re going.” He smirked. “I’m going to a place where I live. I think I should know where it’s at.” I laughed. “Yeah, but you have many different smells on you.” He said. Smells? What the fuck was he talking about? Did I smell bad? I looked at him funny. “Don’t worry. It’s not a bad thing.” He chuckled. “You just have a scent on you that is really familiar.” He smiled. “The only people I should smell like is me, my roomy, and her boyfriend…” I looked at the ground. “Roomy and her boyfriend. Does one of those consist of Jerremy or Julia?” He asked. “I’m gonna kill Jerremy if it’s the last thing I do.” I growled. I glared in front of me. “Jerremy eh? What’d he do to deserve your hate?” He asked and looked forward as I looked at him. “Many things.” I looked forward again too. Jerremy will die, Jerremy will die, Jerremy will fucking die. I will dig his eyes out with my finger nails and eat them in my cereal. I will tear his limbs off one by one and string them up from the ceiling and wait for some starving animal to come by and eat them. I will use his blood in the ink of my pens and bathe in it when I want. I will use his skull to- “What kind of things?” He asked, breaking off my thoughts. “It’s nothing to talk about.” I replied. “So your room mate must be, Jimmy. Am I correct?” He asked and looked down at me once again. “Jimmy… yeah.” How does he know Bellatrix? Was Jerremy opening his big mouth..?. Yet, another reason to hate him.

“Jerremy didn’t say anything about you being a cat. He just said you have anger issues.” He chuckled. Anger issues?! I’m gonna destroy him! “Yeah, sure. anger issues…” I rolled my eyes. I strongly dislike it when people talk about me. It’s the second worst thing someone can do to me. “So, why were you looking for a history book?”  He asked. “I’m going to be stuck in this place for a while and I rather know where I am then being lost in a puddle of questions.” I replied. “Yes, I like to know things.” I stated. “Knowing things only leads to trouble.” He said. “How so?” I asked curiously. “People act like smart asses and they end up losing all their friends… leave it at that.” He said confidently. Leave it at that? Was he joking? Don’t ever leave me at a cliffy. “I’m a smart ass. But I have friends, I have plenty… Kinda.” We stopped in front of the high school and I looked up to look at the paths that split the dorms and the school. I took one of the paths and he still followed right by my side. “Well, you seem like a nice person from what I have heard from Jerremy.” He said sarcastically. “What has Jerremy told you?” I asked. “Just a little about you, but won’t shut up about Jimmy.” He sighed. “I never thought Jerremy would be so sociable about things.” I chuckled. “He never is. He’s always closed up and cold… except when he’s drunk. But that’s a different story.” He laughed. “I only saw him drunk once, he sang, and then he passed out.” I said, I couldn’t help myself, I laughed too.

We were now in front of the dorm building. I let out a hard sigh. I smelled Jerremy faintly, and it made me hiss. I couldn’t really bark or growl that well anymore. He looked at me curiously. “What?” He asked. “Nothing, nothing at all… except for Jerremy…” I hissed again. He just laughed. I stopped in front of my door. “Here is my lovely temporary home.” I rolled my eyes. “If you wouldn’t mind opening the door… I’m not exactly capable of doing so. I’m not usually this height.” He laughed. “Sure.” He smiled sweetly and opened the door. I walked in into the kitchen area and l turned left into the living room to see Bellatrix laying upside on the couch with a bowl on her stomach that smelled of macaroni and cheese. And the T.V was upside down as well. I looked at her a moment and noticed it..  “OH MY GOD!” I screeched. She slightly turned her head. “Huh?” She asked cluelessly and flung some macaroni into her mouth with a spoon. “Where the fuck is your hair?!” I yelled. “Uh… probably in some barbers trash can by now.” She said and some macaroni fell out of her mouth. “But I loved your hair!” My mouth fell open. “You have your own hair.” She looked at me like I was insane. “It’s all over my body though!” I glared at her. “Hey, you’re the one who wanted to be turned into a hamburger- who’s that?” She looked past me. “Your boyfriend?”  She asked childishly. “No. Just helping me carry back a book.” I said. “Hey. Hey!” She called. I looked behind me. “What?” He asked. She flicked a noodle at him and smiled. She jumped up off the couch and walked to him. She held out her hand real slow and casual. “I’m Jimmy. What’s your name?” She asked with a slightly deeper voice. “Keith. It’s nice to meet you?” He shook her hand. She leaned into him and stood on her to tip toes and pulled his head closer to her face. She whispered his ear loudly. “Yeah, those Italians are so hard.” She walked away and sat back on the couch.

“So where’s Jerremy?” I asked. “Uh… not here?” She replied. “Really? Is he okay?” I asked sarcastically. “He’s with Corazona and Brendan in their dorm.”  She said. “Does he know you’re not there?” I asked. “I dunno. Probably. I left like an hour ago.” She said casually, her mouth full of macaroni. “Of course.” I mumbled sarcastically. I turned around to face Keith. “So yeah. Follow me.” I said and walked to my room. I pushed open the door and walked in. Keith was hesitant to come in. My room was quite big compared to the size of the other rooms. I had lots of shelves filled with books and off color vales of liquids. A few objects used for sorcery such as a wand, scepter, and deck of playing cards were on one individual shelf. A stuffed foreign bird was on my desk next to my stack of books that I was reading. It took a lot to get off my shelves. My bite marks were on the covers of the books. I had my walls painted red and the carpet re-done black. I basically made it somewhat like my room back home. I leaped up on my bed that was pushed up against the back wall and sat in the middle. “You can set the book on the desk.” I said. “On the tower of text-y-ness?” He asked. “That works.”

He set the thick history book on my ‘tower’ of books, and then I heard the door open and close. Jerremy’s thick and minty scent filled my noise, and I felt the hair rise on my back. “What’s your problem- Oh, Jerremy.” Keith said with a smirk, and I sent him a small hiss before I jumped down and ran out the room, only to see Bellatrix still sitting upside down on the couch, hardly even noticing the shocked Jerremy at the door. She was still eating, but now it was alfredo noodles. Jerremy glanced at me, and regained his cool. “Oh good, it’s you. I thought I got the wrong dorm.” He said, and I hissed at him. “I hate you.” I growled, and he smirked at me. “Yeah, I know.” He replied.
