Chapter 6: Zeke
Kaz ran down the street with Antonio.
"Where are we going?" asked Kaz.
"I wanna show you something. It might mean something to you." replyed Antonio. Looked at him as they ran block after block.
"Did you ever think I was a demon?" she said in curiousity.
He looked at her and thought a moment. "No, who woulda thought you were?" he asked.
"You," she replyed. He looked at her. "I'm just saying. You know..." He smiled at her and shook his head. "What? Was it something I said?"
"No. I didnt say any thing... I was just telepaticly telling you something." He joked.
"Okay? How much futher?"
"Its in the desert area." Kaz looked at him. "The dunes?"
"All the way out there?!" she said in confusion. "I mean its gonna take a while to get out there."
"No its not. You can change into a dog cant you?"
"A wolf. And yes, I can."
"Okay then," Antonio jumpped onto the air and sprouted large bat wing from his back. "C'mon! We dont have a lot of time." Kaz changed into a wolf and ran down the steet. He stayed behind Antonio.
MEAN WHILE...
NIck, Lex, and Cam walked twords Central.
"How much trouble do you think we'll be in if we get caught out here. Or out of our homes at this time of night." asked Lex.
"You guys wont get in as much trouble as me thats for sure." sad Nick. "I smell wet dog."
"What?" said Cam in confusion.
"Wet dog. Its not all that pleasent." said Lex.
"No I mean wet DOG."
"What do you mean?" asked Lex,
"Demon animals." said Nick. "Its like they're evrey where we go. Like they're stalking us."
"Where are they?" asked Cam.
"Every where."
"Aaa... this is creepen me out." said Lex.
"Me too." said Cam
"Lets keep on goen." said Nick as he walked. All of a sudden a big wolf like creature jumpped in frount of him. It was growling and slowly walking twords him. NIck backed away slowly. It tackled Nick to the ground.
"Lets see what you got vampire." it said.
"...Zeke? Is that you?" asked Nick.
"Nick? What are you doen with a bunch of mortals?" it asked.
"Those are Cameron and Lex and I'm looken for a way around all the wet dogs." replyed NIck. "What are you doen out here?"
"Looken for you and Kaz." the wolf creature stepped off of Nick. "They're looken for you two... over you know what."
"Uhh... Nick? What is you know what?" asked Lex.
"And you know how much trouble you'll be in when they find out you are bringing a bunch of humans around with you?"
"A lot. I just want to get away from them. We got accused of killing a mortal." said Nick.
"What? Both of you?"
"Yeah, and them two." Nick pointed to Lex and Cam. They looked at eacch other and shrugged their shoulders.
"Where is Kaz?" asked Zeke.
"Her friend Antonio is showen her something. We are gonna meet them in Central." said Nick. "We have to hurry."
"Have you ever thought that if you turn them you wont get in trouble for haveing them with you?" asked Zeke.
"I would but, they're Kaz's friends and she doesnt them to turn... And plus, she would most likely kill her self if I did that."
"I see... Well you two..." said Zeke. "Either you stay out of the way or you go home and hope you dont get found by underworld angels."
"We've came this far what makes you think we're gonna turn back?" said Lex.
"Fine by me." said Cam.
"Alright. Lets go." said Nick. They walked off twords Central.
