 "Angel Leigh Wake up sweety" my brother Quinty shook me. "Huh?" i asked my rubbing my eyes. "We will arive in a few minutes" he smiled warmly at me and handed me a bottle of water. "Thanks"

 I looked out the window at the tall buildings. I had been in a city before when i was little, but nothing this huge. "Look Quinty!" i whispered in aw. He looked and saw the huge statue of liberty. He smiled then said, "I knew you'd like it here.

 Within a few minutes my brother pulled up to this town house attatched to other town homes. He pointed to the small green one, "Our new home Angel Leigh" Then we got out the car. "Its  small but pretty looking" i said then we began carrying our few boxes in.

LATER ON THAT NIGHT

 "Angel Leigh" my brother called me down stairs. "Coming Quinty" i said running down with my slippers on. "Dinner will be done in a while why don't you go take a walk and check everything out?" I took a deep breath and went a little white. Quinty knew that look and said, "Its okay Angel Leigh no one knows were here!" he assured me they didn't know where we were. They are my parents murders.

 I took off my slippers, put on a thick jacket and boots, then walked out side. It smelt like a bar BQ out side, i liked the smell. I looked to my far right and a black guy, and a white guy were grilling some food. I walked down my steps and began walking down the street.

 I began walking down the street looking at all the people out even though it was night. I heared some loud rap music blaring out a car as it slowly drove near me. They stopped near me and just kept playing music, i couldn't see through their tint. The black guy bar BQin looked at them then yelled to me. "HURRY HIDE COME INSIDE!" i turned around and looked.

 The guy reached a gun out and i ran to the stranger and they guys in the car shot at me as i ran into the strangers house with me. I was shaking and i looked at the black guy and the white guy. "Thheyy followed me!?" i babbled and they shook their heads. "I donno who you talking about" the white guy said, "But those are one of the local gangs" the black guy added. "They randomly roll around here at night."

 I looked at the door then back at them, "Well thanks" i said with a tear, "I thought they were some one else following me" i thought. "So whats your name Chicka?" the black guy asked. "I'm Angel Leigh" i shook hands, "You?" He smiled, "Sweet name and i'm Kai" then he pointed to his friend, "Thats Joe" i shook joe's hand. 

 Joe then said "I gotta go now Kai cya" then he walked out the door. I still stood there a little frightened to walk home with the gang lurking around. "Hey you want me to walk you home?" Kai asked me and i smiled, "Yes please!" He smiled back, i then realized how cute i thought he was. We began walking out the door and he looked up to the sky.

 "Nice stars out" he said and i looked too, "Yes suprisingly sense were in the city" i laughed and we walked to my place. "You just moved in here?" he asked and i nodded. I told him he could come inside for a sec. "Your parents here?" he asked and i frowned. "Whats wrong?" he asked, "They're dead, but you can meet my brother" i said and he frowned. "Sorry for your loss, My father died a few years ago i neva knew my mom also"

 We walked inside and i called to Quinty, "Hey come meet our neighbor!" i called and he came. "Hey Quinty this is.." i couldnt finish before he said, "Kai? Is that you?"
