 I remember when i would spend all hours of the day drawing. It was one of my favorite things, even portraits of my friends. They loved that. Around school i was extremely popular and dated Rick Lowel the most popular foot ball star. I was a rocker, and Rick was a Jock, but we complemented each other. Life was grand and i loved it, but that all changed one day when Rick took me for a ride.

 "Okay once we get to the store then i promis i will give you a kiss" he said holding the wheel. "You know how i am about taking my eyes off the road" he said quietly. "Poor Rick, your father most be lonely without your mom." i thought but didn't say it.

 For some reason i knew i just had to look out at the sunset one last time, who knows maybe i knew it be the last i saw it. I pressed my face against the window smiling, the sky was wonderous. "I love you Jess you know that?" Rick asked me. "Of course why Rick?" i asked and a tear rolled down his face. "Do you trust me?" he looked quickly at me then back on the road.

 "Yes, yes!" i said, "Why Rick?" i asked and he gulped. "I just tried to push the brake, but its not working and soon we'll be in the city, we'll get in a reck for sure." he started to cry. "Oh god Rick!" i sobbed. "Why is it broke?" i asked and he whispered. "I think some people i was introuble with did this" I frowned i knew he did drugs before but didn't know still.

 "Look you said you trusted me right?" he looked into my eyes then back to the road. "yes why?" i asked agian. "You've gotta jump now!" he said and i bugged out. "Jump out the truck???" i freaked. "Yes our else you'll die in when the car wont stop!" he cried. "Jump with me Rick!" i cried. "i'll try he said." He put the car on cruise and we swung the door open and on three both jumped out.

 I remembered hitting the ground hard and crying out in pain. I began rolling down the side of the hill. I saw Rick screaming and rolling down too. I all of asuden felt like i was falling, and i was off a cliff. At the last second i felt Rick grab my hand. "Don't worry baby i'll save you!" he cried trying to pull me up. His arm was broken and it hurt for him to pull. "Rick save yourself!!" i yelled, "Trying to save me will make you fall" i cried. "I will die trying to save you" he cried.

 I never seen him more horrified. He began to pull me up and finally i got up. I laid on the ground kissing it thankful to be back. Rick stood breathing heavily on the edge of the clift. "I saved you" he smiled and i did too. Then i saw a rock crumble beneath him and the edge of cliff fall off. "NOOO RICK!" i cried running but even him knew it was too late. "I love you" he cried and fell to his death.

 I screamed and ran to the side of the cliff, "RICK!" i cried "RICK!" and by his motionless body i knew, he was dead. I started breathing heavily and crying like crazy. I panicked and started running up the hill. I was in such shock to not noticed a hole in the ground and i tripped. Landing face first on a hard rock. I was knocked out.

 I didn't know how long i was out but i awoke in a hospital bed, BLIND.
