Bryce headed back towards me with two plastic cups in hand.  Breathing in the air, I realized that if I didn't want to smell like pot when I got home I'd have to go outside.  I quickly suggested this to Bryce and that's just what we did. 

There were only a few people outside, it was a strange peacefullness, in strong contrast with the party scene inside.  We were silent for a few moments until Bryce's cell phone rang.  He winced apologetically and went inside, why I can't fully fathom.

Pay attention to something other than that boy, important things will happen tonight, and that's not who I wanted you to meet, look closer.

I frowned, growing tired of the steady interuptions, but did as I was told.  Standing under a tall tree, a boy not much older than me stood alone.  I squinted, he somehow looked familiar.  But what else could I be seeing?  I glanced around, but my eyes were drawn back to him.

That's right, look closer, you've seen him before.

Yeah, well it's kinda dark.

So turn on a light.  The switch is just over your left shoulder.

I turned and of course there it was.  I flicked it with one finger, and looked back.  He was looking right at me, and I had seen him before, but only in my dreams.

I stepped towards him as if in a dream, he regarded me silently.  How did I know him?  Brown eyes burned into mine, his face was shocking in its intensity.  Cheekbones that actually left slight hollows under them and angled eyebrows that only drew me into his eyes.  I reached him in a matter of seconds, either I had run, or totally been hypnotized. 
   "Do I know you?"
   "You tell me."  Even his voice was familiar, everything about him was.
   "I don't know..." I trailed off.  Like I said, everything's been normal for me so far, no crazy weird stuff, until now.

   "I have to be going now," he murmured turning.  He took a step and half turned back, "Are you coming?"

I can promise you right now Katherine, that if you follow him, your life will never ever be the same again.  Haven't you always wanted to be extarordinary?

So I guess that was it, should I stay or should I go?
