One more piece about my mom, only a little she doesn't deserve any more, trust me. An example of her "caring" is when I broke my toe, yes I actually did it by myself, she said we were going out. Silly me, I thought she meant the hospital. (I'm rolling my eyes just to let you know.) No, she wanted to go to the movies!!! Isn't that just like the best idea??? After I promptly bust into tears we did go to the hospital, it turned out to be a spiral fracture, I really should have been walking on it. Still with me? That was major sarcasm. After the prescribed six weeks of wearing a really freaking ugly shoe we were supposed to go back to a specialist. Mom thought it was uneccessary, so we didn't. Turns out it didn't heal properly, you can still see the indents in my skin where it broke, and I can't wear high heels for very long unless I'm really determined. I hate my little toe now, it makes me sad. Anyway, if I get to thinking about my mom's blood in my veins for too long I go a little nutso. It feels like my veins are itching and I want to scratch all of her blood out of me. Luckily I've never actually tried. It just goes in my box of things not to think about, like the way I grew up, Bro E, mom, the vast expanse of empty universe, Zac Efron, algebra, how many people die per minute, etc. Wow that got me depressed I have to go watch Care Bears or something, till next time!

This whole story seems like an intro, like we're getting a taste of the story, but the big picture is still missing. It's very well-written, but I can't help but wonder when the plot is going to truly begin. |
