    "Lysander?" Arden repeated, "Are you okay?"  It was then that she saw the glimmer, the red.  Josef's final moments he drifted back to insanity, and stabbed Lysander.  Arden looked around wildly, James was sitting on the ground, staring at the blood on his hands, he hadn't even noticed.  Looking back at Lysander she saw him firmly grasp the handle and pull out the knife, a gush of more red followed his action.  He groaned and stood.   "You need...to go," he breathed.   "No! I can't just leave you to die!" she objected.     "Arden, it's my time."   "Oh, bullshit, this isn't Titanic," she growled.   "James!" Lysander called ignoring her.  With James' help he was able to trhow Arden into a car, James wasted no time climbing in the driver's seat.  In desperation Aredn looked back at Lysander through the window, his face was solemn and after a few moments he dropped to his knees.   "James!" Arden screamed, "You've gotta help him!"  But James made no move to turn around, if anything he accelerated.  Taking Arden further from Lysander and Lysander further from life.
