They got outside and the long process began. They arrested Anthony and took him down town. For about a week, they questioned Chyrstal and everyone else about the murder. They had a trial and Anthony was given 10 to 12.
Johnny had moved to L.A after the trail to go to an art school to become a music producer.
It was two days after every thing had started to settle down and Chyrstal had just gotten home when there was a knock on her door.
She sighed and went to answer it.Gabriel stood there with two movies and some popcorn.
“Can I come in?”
A smile spread across her face. She had missed him during the trial; she hadn’t really spent time with him.
“of course.”
He came in and she closed the door. “I jus though you’d want to hang out.”
“Sure. I’ll start the popcorn. Want a drink?”
“Yea, Pepsi’s good. Where do you want to watch this?”
“Uh, I guess we can go in my room.”
He went into her room and turned on the T.V. About a minute later she came in with the popcorn and sodas.
She lay on the bed while he put the movie on. Then he joined her one the bed. She rearranged herself so she was lying on his chest.
Twenty minutes into the movie, she whispered “Gabriel?”
“Mmm?”
“I…I can’t stop thinking about you.”
He looked down at her surprised. “I haven’t stopped thinking about you sense the day I met you.” He said brushing some hair out of her face.
She looked into his deep brown eyes, “You know I’m sick. But I really like you and I’m done trying to pretend you’re not good for me. So if you still want, I’m ready to try this if you are.”
He took her face in his hands and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss grew slightly deeper. When he finally released her, he looked back into her eyes and said, “I thought you’d never ask.”
