Chyrstal looked at the radio; she fiddled with the dials till it got to her favorite station, and it was in the middle of her newest favorite song. I try to play cool actin like what you do don’t phase me phase me….
She couldn’t help her self,
“Mean while I’m sittin at home all alone tryin to keep my self from goin crazy.” she sung, not at the top of her lungs, but close enough….Gabriel laughed “I didn’t know you were a singer!”
She looked at him and rolled her eyes “please, don’t hate on my American idol voice.” “Rite, I could just see you on there, singing then Simon saying ‘that was absolutely marvelous. See you in Hollywood.’” His want-to-be British accent was perfect.
She giggled. “Don’t be ridiculous, I can’t sing to save my life, but it’s really fun.” He turned to look at her and his Carmel eyes glistened.
She smiled and he turned back to face the road.
“You want to play a game?” she asked, a gleam in her eye.
He looked at her and laughed. “You act like such a child sometimes,” he laughed some more. “Sure, why not.”
“Okay,” she said excitedly. “It’s called 21 questions. But its not all stupid like 50cent’s song, like ‘if I worked at McDonalds’ no, I get 21 questions and you get 21 questions and we ask the other person what we want to know, and each other has to answer honestly. Got it?”
“I think so. So who goes first?”
“You. Sense you’re older.”
“Okay. What’s your favorite color?” he asked immediately
“Blue and black.” She answered. “Okay, my turn, where did you move from?”
“Chicago.” He said.
She looked at him for more, but his face showed that he wasn’t interested in talking about it.
She hesitated then said “okay, your turn.”
“What’s your favorite type of flower?” he asked
“I like red roses and all but there so non-original, I like carnations.” she smiled. “Okay, so why did you move here from Chicago?” He sighed. It wasn’t jus like a regular sigh either, it was a deep sigh. “Well, it’s a long story…” pulling up a long road. “Ill tell you all about it when we go inside.”
She looked out the window, beautiful trees were lined up along the road, and leading to what she assumed was his house. His house was beautiful on the out side, a water fountain in the middle of a circle of tile. The front door was blue. The house its self a strange faded white. He pulled up to, what looked to be a separate building, and pushed a button. The door opened, and Chyrstal realized it was the garage.
He pulled in and parked the car. They got out and he led the way into the house.“Wait, is it okay with our parents if I’m here?” she asked cautiously before walking into the house.
“It’s fine, there never home anyways.”
“Okay, if you say so…” she said and walked into the door behind him.
As she walked in, he closed the door behind them, she looked around. It was as beautiful on the inside as the outside.It was not what she expected. She expected boxes and things laying everywhere from the recent move. It was nothing like that; it was neat, clean, and almost perfect. Then she looked up. There was a beautiful crystal chandelier on the ceiling. There was one flight of stairs that she could see with a massive banister. You know the type that make you want to slide down, get to the bottom run back up the stairs and do it again.
“Wow. Its amazing.” She stated in awe
“It’s okay.” He said with a shrug.
“personally, I prefer what you have.”“Okay. I’ve have officially placed you in the crazy category.”
He looked at her shook his head and started up the stairs, giving her a tour of the house at the same time.
They finally came to yet another door. Before he opened it she laughed “wait let me guess, another guest room?”
“We don’t have that many.” He said laughing
“Umm I think 6 is a lot.”
“Well no, actually, this is my room.” He said pushing the door open.
Authors note: helloJ. Well lets see, I’m so about to be permanently grounded [[grades came out]] so I will try extra hard to get the next chapter out before that happens okay? 20 votes please!
