        After a long day at work, Charlotte was making a date on her couch with a pint and a good flick she rented only just the day befor. She was deep into thought about a falling out she had earlier with a co-worker. Sam had wanted her to cover for him while he went to some stupid party. She had things she needed to do and besides, she had had enough of covering up for him. At the same time she was conflicted. she felt guilty for snapping at him and was almost tempted to call him up and apologize. After a moments thought, she decided not. She needed a quiet relaxing evenning.

       "Ring..Ring" Startled, charlotte awoke with a jerk. she had fallen asleep and hadn't realized. Reluctantly she tugged on the reciever. "Hello?"

      "Charlotte! Oh my God, you have to help me please! he's coming..please..."  Screams were heard everywhere int he background. It was sam. something was happening to Sam.

      "Sam I am going to kill you for real if you don't stop. This isn't funny and you're insane. leave me alone!" Charlotte listened for his response getting all the more irritated. Who did he think he was?

        "Charlotte please help me," he was whispering. After a short pause, she had to strain to hear him. "i'm at Kendra's." his voice began to crack and there were sobs. Charlotts heart thumped faster, hardera nd soon it was in her throat.

        "Sam what is going on? You're scaring me!"

        "Oh god he's coming! i have to go. Please help me, he's killed Nate and Kendra. i don't know about the others..there's so much blood..oh God!"

        "Wait..blood? What are you saying?"  There was thud and a scream. Sam was screaming. sweat dropplets dampened her forehead as she began to shake. Her hands were shaking uncontrolably and she didn't dare drop the phone. sudenly she could hear breathing. Someone had picked up the phone and was breathing. Hard.
