Once we all finished getting dressed for the day I decided it was time to get to business. "Im going to get some hair dye and new clothes for you two. I should be back in a few hours, the cleaning products are under the sink in the kitchen!" I told Maggie
"Great see you when you get back!" she responded.
I hoped in the Jeep and went on my way. It took about 45 minutes to get to the nearest Wal Mart. I parked pretty close because the place seemed deserted. I grabbed a shopping cart and heading to the health and beauty products. I grabbed the things I needed there. I got dark brown hairdye and a red highlighting kit. I looked through three aisles but could not find hair shears. I thought I spotted some in the fourth aisle. I wasnt paying attention in front of me. My eyes were set on the shears. then suddenly BAM! I ran into a man.
I looked up into his crystal blue eyes. "I am so sorry!" i stammered. I helped him collect his belongings on the floor that my shopping cart had knocked over. He just smiled a beautiful smile letting his pearly whites glisten in the flouresent lighting.
I passed him his things and started like I was going to leave the aisle. "Wait" he said "do I know you from somewhere?" I thought about it for a minute with im sure a puzzled look on my face.
"I dont think so" I said
"maybe Im mistaking you for someone else, Im Trent and you are?" he said and it excited me because he was a gorgeous being and i wouldnt mind staying for a small chat.
"im Kristin. are you from around here?" I asked
"yeah ive lived here my whole life. where are you coming from?" he answered
I said "im from franklin. im up in somerset staying at my camp with my friend and her daughter."
"well if you are planning to be here for a while maybe we could get lunch or something.." he asked
"sure i guess that would be ok." I answered. Really my heart was pounding because I hadnt been pursued by a man in some time and it felt good.
we finished our shopping together. I picked out a few outfits for Maggie and Sarah. Then we walked to the garden section. "what do you need a shovel for kristin?" he asked
"oh i was just planning on doing some yard work at the camp" i lied. really its purpose was to dig a very deep hole in the woods for the creeps that caused us to be here.
I got a few groceries and went to the self check out. as I was scanning my merchandise Trent came up behind me and whispered in my ear, "you are gorgeous"
it seemed weird to me but i was thankful for the compliment so i dashed a flirty smile in his direction and continued ringing my things up. He helped me load up the jeep and asked me where we should eat. "im not very familliar with this area maybe you could surprise me" i said.
He brought me to a small diner where i guess he was well known. we walked in and he was immediatly welcomed by the waitress. "hey trent who do you have here?" she asked.
"this is kristin we bumped into eachother at wal mart" he answered her
"well it is nice to meet you kristin. im jennah." she exclaimed.
"its very nice to meet you too." I answered
she seated us in a booth and i sat across from trent. Man he was a gorgeous creature I thought. what was he doing being so sweet to little old me? We ate lunch and talked a little. I told him the situation with maggie. I was a little apprehensive but he insisted on coming to the camp and sleeping on the sofa incase they tried to mess with us. I dont know why but for some reason i trusted him. it felt like i had known him forever so i agreed to it.
