Finally I reached the dirt road that my camp was on. I went slow so I didn't cause dust to fly. I pulled up to the older looking building. I saw that Maggie looked scared but I reassured her. "Its nicer inside."

"It doesnt bother me." she said but I knew she was thinking otherwise.

I unlocked the combination lock on the big wooden door. Opening it I let Sarah and Maggie go ahead of me. Maggie sat in aw of the beautiful room that lay infront of her. There were hard wooden floors that spread across the entire camp. It had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The first room is a sun room. A colorful braided rug lay on the floor. Three rocking chairs and a glass top coffee table were placed atop the rug. Pictures of gardens and fields decorated the light yellow walls.

I flipped the switch that turns on the light and ceiling fan. Dust bunnies flew off the fan and collected on the floor and furniture below. "I havent been here in a while. Sorry its so dusty. It wont take much to clean up." I mentioned.

"Don't worry" She answered. "You should see my house."

We both giggled even though we weren't in the giggling mood. Sarah scampered off to find something to play with as I showed Maggie around.

I brought her to the kitchen and showed her where the dishes and appliances were kept. She admired the window above the sink. It was stained glass and the picture was a bouquet of daisies.

Next I showed her to the living-space. I turned on the tv to be sure that I had paid the cable bill. It worked so I tuned it in to some cartoons for Sarah.

Then I showed her to the bedroom she would be staying in. I decided it would be a good idea for me to stay too. Those men were dangerous and I did not want to be home to great them.

It was dark now and you could make out the stars from the picture window in the livingroom. We watched tv and decided to get some sleep as we had a lot to do the next day.
