"Ihea!" a tree, that is thousands of years old, falls before Matts feet. "Great work Matt. Maybe there is hope for you yet.", laughed Law. "heh heh very....funny.", said Matt out of breath. "Well we better get back. They'll kill us if we're late." Matt and Law packed up and started walking back to the temple. "So why are we going to the temple?" asked Matt. "Well, today marks your fourth month of trainng. In Grimreaper standards that means you are a no longer a trainee. You will be inducted as my second." explained Law. "What! Really! man this is awesome. Let's go." Matt started to sprint. "Wow, slow down speed demon." said Law. "Why?" Matt said. "We need to look professional. Put on your new clothes." said Law. "What clothes?" asked Matt. Law pulled a package off the back of his trenche-coat and handed it to Matt. "Wow." Matt said pulling out a new leather trench-coat, a pure silver katana, new boots, and an old knife that looked vaguely familiar. "What's this?" asked Matt indicating the knife, "This is yours right?" "That's right " responded Law "I can't take this here." Matt tried to give th knife back to Law "No it's a gift," said Law,"I want you to have it." "Wow, uh thanks. I don't know what to say." said Matt. "Well put on the coat and your new boots then we'll go." Matt changed quickly and they started off again. After two hours of walking, running, and sprinting they finally arrived. The strange thing is no one was at the entrance. "What's going one? Where is everybod.." Matt started but was cut off by Laws stern hand. "Quiet," Law whisperd, "somethings not right. Prepare to defend yourself." They started to creep along the dark main street until they came upon five limp bodies in the middle of the road. Law stopped in horror. When the moon light passed over the bodies Law realised that it was the rest of the Grimreapers who were in town to celebrate Matts induction as one of the Grimreapers. Law ran up to the bodies and turned them over. It look like their souls have been ripped out of their bodies. Law realised that the Demons have killed them. law stood up. "Law is that really them. I mean who could do something like this? Matt asked. Before Law could answer a dark but pleased voice answered from a shadow of a figure. "Why yes it is the Grimreapers. And it looks like we will complete the final destruction." A head of an elder rolled out from where the shadow was. "Who are you?" Law said with force. Matt quivered, he had never seen Law this upset, let alone Law upset period. "Why," the voice started, "I am the leader of the newest force on this plain. The demons have organized and have killed every soul in this city. My name is Xavier demon of the shadows." Matt started to cry silently. Law seen this and said, "Matt draw your Katana. Let's have some fun so quit crying." Matt stopped and drew his Katana. Law drew his katana and their was a gaint pressure in the atmosphere. "I can bearly move." struggled Matt. "Impressive." said Xavier. As Xavier said this two Demons appeared. "Now," said Xavier, "Let's see if you two can last longer then your commrades." As Xavier said this the Demons attacked. Both demons were identicle; About eight feet tall, 300 pounds, dark blue skin topped with a three horned head, all combined into a smell that summerized their uglyness. Law dashed ahead and sliced two of the three horns of the closest Demons off. matt knew that Law wanted that one. Matt ducked, the other Demon was swinging at Matt's head looking for blood. Matt swung his Katana up blindly. He turned around and the Demon's head rolled across the ground; the body was limp, supported by its curved arm. Matt looked up again. Law was crouched low to the ground. The Demon charged and Law wasn't moving. Matt tried to turn away but the pressure he felt before and couldn't. Matt screamed. When he did Law disappeared. Matt looked puzzled then a flash blinded Matt for a seconded. Law was standing in the middle of two parts of a Demon. Then Law charged Xavier. Xavier disappeared. Law sheathed his sword. He looked at Matt and said with the strictist voice, "Let's go now!" Matt knew not to question anything just yet. "Make sure you keep up with me because I won't stop." said Law and he started sprinting. Matt never ran as fast as he did ever. After what seemed like a few days Law finally stopped. Matt then said, "What do we do now?" "I don't know." said Law. Later that night Matt heard what he never thought he would here, Law crying quietly.
