The Fugacious Feelings of Actualization

Philosophy Created on 6-16-07 Views(74) Story Rating G
In every aspect, we're expected to do things beyond our own comprehension. The prime example: life.  We are expected to live, even though we are unsure of what we're living for.  Sure, everyone can have their beliefs in why we live, but you could talk to me until you're blue in the face and that still won't make it absolutely, without-a-doubt true.

Doubt is a fickle thing.  Once implanted into your mind, it can spin your world out of control.  It's all a doubt, the shadow of something creeping up in your mind, causing you to think outside the box in any given situation.  Doubt, while usually proved to be a bad thing we deal with, is in fact something special that we all could accept as the guideline in our lives.  It's only when we look at things from all angles, that we get the full picture.  Ignorance never solves equations.  Logic does.

The reality of actualizing your goals is only fugacious based upon circumstances in which you allow total control over your disposition to live.  In other words, if you allow every minute bump in the road to affect you, your chances of achieving your goals only diminishes as your life goes on.  While you might achieve everything you want in life at a ripe age, you will miss out on the experiences you were meant to seek.  Or, perhaps if you dawdle in life,  you may not make it to each goal you have defined. Rather than over and underachieving, there is moderation. And in moderation can you find a healthy, fruitful balance to the nature of life.

All of the possibilities we open ourselves up to are only fleeting if we allow them to slip through the cracks.  Doubting your own ability to embrace the open opportunities in life, will lead to the ambiguous comparability of letting go that which we once felt acceptance within. Doubt can fill the voids of honor and raid the terraces of pride.  But one person has never been so bold as to state that doubt can lead you on an adventure in achievement, making actual assumptions instead of childish accusations on a feeling or a thought.

Being that person, the one that stands out amongst the crowd and finds something enthralling to study and turn into their own, that person is the one who we all will look up to in the end.  You see, their doubt of what was handed to them and their ability to reach further than what is made available, it's in those powers of the mind that we find ourselves doing beyond what we're expected.  Reaching somewhere that no one has been before.

An actualization of life itself.
