The room is bland and cheap, the scent of disorder hanging in the air. She is there, blind to the memories surrounding her. She is naked, alone, her dark hair in tangles. Her eyes are liquid and her cheeks are wet. She cannot breathe, she cannot think. She suddenly pulls her legs to her chest and starts rocking back and forth, the sobs are uncontrollable and take her over. Just as quick as the tears came, they leave her. Finally she looks at the small blunt object lying next her. It was previously unnoticed. She picks it up and finds comfort in the cold black metal. Her eyes move to the small triangular blade. She knows she fears physical pain but yet she craves it. "If only I could slip away.." she thinks. Without another thought she plunges the blade into her wrists, one after the other. She can't scream because she still can't breathe. But she feels the warm life-giving liquid flow out of her. She feels every pulse of her heart beat. Why does she feel more alive in this moment than ever before? Her blood is running down her skin, clothing her body. She doesn't want to die, truthfully. She just doesn't want to feel. Deep down she hopes some one will come and save her in time. "Maybe someone loves me that much..." That is her last thought as her mind is enveloped by the exquisite pain which finally brings about that beautiful empty numbness. "Someone save me..."

AmiottDe That is sad. Nobody should ever try to commit suicide or cut themselves. I had a friend who did that once and I punched him in the head when I find out.

I like the story, but somone needs to save that poor girl. If she could save herself from her world of despair she would, but she is past that and needs someone to really see her and get her some HELP! Believe me, I understand!
