  When Kevin was 7, he always loved to play in the abandon lot near his home. One day he saw a girl maybe his age, stumbling through the tall grass. Being that he was curious, and being home schooled had few friends, he went to investigate her.

 "Hey who are you?" Kevin said pushing the tall grass out his way. She smiled and said, "I am Julie, I just moved her a week ago." She said walking closer. "Do you want to play?" he asked and she nodded and trotted behind him.

 They sat in the dirt and drew pictures with their little fingers. "That doesn't look like a cat!" he teased. "Shut up stupied!" she said jumping on him and they started to wrestle. Eventually kevin gave up, "Your strong for a girl!" She smiled proudly, "Yup!" She then dusted off her dress, "Momma wont like i dirtied it but oh well!" she laughed. He reached into his pocket and gave her a whistle, a gift for new friendship.

 She said goodbye to Kevin and went home. From that day on after Julie got of school, and Kevin was done with homeschool, they'd come play in the old lot. Also Kevin would listen to tales about school, for he had never been to a real one. He became fascinated with her stories of all her friends and how she was popular. Although she was his only friend. They'd give each other many hugs too.

 On Kevins 10th birthday His parents finally decided sense They still hadn't met this girl who he had been meeting and talking about ever day for 3 years, they'd invite her to the party. Kevin happily ran down the street and to the lot where she sat in the dirt. "Hey i got you a gift!" she smiled holding a box.

 "Hey come to my party and I'll open it there!" he smiled and she nodded then followed him. Julie was very kind to his parents and they fell in love with the little darling right away. When it came to presents he opened up hers first. Inside the box was tickets to a wrestling match. "JULIE HOW'D YOU GET THESE? THERE SOLD OUT!" he said jumping up and down. She grinned, "My uncle owns the place and he smiled widely.

 "THANK YOU SO MUCH!" he hugged her and then continued with his gifts. Inside he felt loved. Sense he was now 10 his parents agreed he could start public school in the following school year, he was so excited.

 The following school year came fast and before he knew it he was standing at the bus stop with his lunch bag and julie at his side. "You'll be fine!" she smiled at him she could tell he was nervous. All these years of dreaming of public school he'd never thought he'd actually go.

 When the bus came the bus driver who Julie greeted as Mr. James was very nice. Julie grabbed Kevins hand and dragged him to the back of the bus to sit next to her. The rest of the kids giggled and whispered. "Hey is that your boyfriend Julie?" A boy teased and Kevin blushed. "No but you say that again and i'll kick your butt like last time!

 The boy didn't say much after that, and even Kevin knew that Julie was very strong and could beat up any one. School went by pretty quick and Kevin made a bunch of friends and became part of the popular crowd. Also being that he was called the hottest dude in school.

 By highschool Julie and Kevin were still bestfriends. They also still met up in the lot, after all those years. Julie would talk to Kevin about her boyfriend and how he was kind of rough. One day Kevin heard her tell him that her boyfriend had hit her, and she had a busted lip.

 Kevin went up to the guy at school and punched him in the face breaking his nose and cutting him with his ring. "THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR TOUCHING A LADY!" he yelled to Julie's boyfriend and she stood behind him smiling to herself. She knew that Kevin truely cared about her. But of course Kevin got suspended and sent home. But Julie felt love inside for Kevin, and he did for her, little did they know.

 The prom came up and Kevin asked if he could attended, the school decided that he'd be alowed to attend and he was so happy. When he met Julie in the lot that day she was sitting indian style with something in her hands. "Hey sweety!" he called to her and she jumped up. "HEY I MISS YOU GONE FROM SCHOOL!" she cried out and hugged him.

 "What do you got there?" he asked and she smiled. She placed the object into his palm. He looked and it was a little whistle. But not any whistle, the one he had gave her as a gift over 10 years ago. He actually teared a bit, "You, you kept this?" She nodded, "ever sense that day exactly 10 years from now."

 He held it tightly, "Do you know why i gave it to you?" he asked. "No why?" she smiled. "Because you were my first friend, and also my first crush." he smiled. "I was a silly little boy" he said looking at the whistle. "Not silly, maybe weird, maybe, but you were adorable!" she smiled and then asked, "Will you go to the Prom with me?" she asked and he burst out with "OF COURSE!" he smiled and kissed her lips.

 This was both their first kiss, and it was in their favorite spot, the lot.

 When it was prom day Kevin got up early, put on his tux and flipped his long hair over to one said, shaved, put on colone, and he looked aboslutly handsome. He parents kept taking photos. Julie also got up early and put up her hair and put on her dress which was a strapless long blue diamond stud dress. It was gorgeous, she then did her make up which her mom helped. She too had tons of pictures done.

 When Kevin got to Julies house he was invited in right away and at the end of the stairs he and her parents watched as she walked down slowly. She looked as beautiful as ever, and perfect like the movies. She hugged him tightly and then they posed for pictures, they took extra for his parents too.

 The prom was lovely and it was drapped with blue fabrics and club lights. The Dj was really good, and the prom was fun. "Hey look its Julie and Kevin!" Hannah a girl called over and ran up to hug them. Everyone kept saying what a cute couple they were, and they truely were. The music began and Kevin danced with Julie. They swayed slowly to the song and admired each other.

 "We have came a long way from dirty little kids in a dirt lot." he laughed and she laughed too. "Kevin," she said. "Yes Julie?" he asked and she took a deep breath. "I love you," his heart stopped, he had been waiting to tell her he loved her sense he was 7. "I love you too." he whispered and they kissed right as the principel said, "PROM KING AND QUEEN ARE JULIE ROBERTS AND KEVIN DAY!"

 They climbed on stage and accepted their crowns proudly, they also thanked their friends and walked off stage. Graduation came weeks later and Julie nervously got ready with him. "Wow i can't believe were grown already" she said with teary eyes, "I'll miss this" she said and he looked at her. "Why?" he asked. "Because you got into that college out of state" she whispered and he smiled. "I would never leave you, i care to much about you."

 "Infact i love you!" he smiled, "I decided to goto college with you here!" he kissed her and they went onto graduate. They accepted their diplomas and tossed their hats. Then before they got off stage, infront of thousands of people, Kevin got on his knees and proposed. "i have loved you ever sense that day in the lot, and i can't stand loosing you, will you marry me julie??" he asked and she began to cry out of joy, "YES YES I WILL!" she lossed him and every one cheered and clapped.

A while after they had married and moved into a house down the street from their child hood home, kevin covered her eyes for a suprise. Once they got there he took way his hands and she looked. "Were in the lot?" she asked and he smiled "They were gonna dimolish it so i bought it for us" She began to tear, "thank you so much!" she kissed him, and the lot was now, "Their lot"
