After Dereck left Julies front door he couldn't help but laugh to himself. (I am in love with a girl, who shall never know, how great)

Travis:Whats so funny ugly?

His brother laughed stepping out from the shadows.

Dereck: Nothing.... And i am better looking then you Travis! (Jerk he thought)

Travis: Yeah thats hard to believe, and thats why you ain't got a girl or nutin?  I have me plenty, that girl Julie is one of many,

Dereck: You Jerk how dare you cheat on Julie? Huh? And for your information she doesn't like you any more!

Travis grew angry and rage was in his eyes, he tightned his fists and stepped closer to his fraternal twin brother Dereck.

Travis: I can do what ever i want! YOU HEAR ME DERECK? And Julie can't leave me i wont let her! *Laughs evily*

Dereck: I am NOT going to let you ruin her life, leave her be!

Travis: Aww i thing my brother has a crush on Julie!

Dereck blushes angrily and looks down not knowing what to say.

Travis: And by the way Dereck, (he began to walk away) She'll never like a loser liek you!

Dereck was furious and charged after Travis knocking him to the ground. Travis wrapped his hands around Dereck's neck and tried to strangle him. Dereck and him fought for several minutes, hitting, kicking, biting, punching, head butting, yelling, cursing and what not. Eventually they rolled over into the side yard and Julie looked out her window to see what the noise was.

Julie: OH MY GOD! What in the world are you to doing! *Her eyes bugged out her head*

They immediatly stopped and looked up at her. She had tears and anger in her eyes.

Travis: I am sorry baby, just that Derecks being a little jealous.

Dereck: *YELLED OUT RAGED* What! I am not jealous! Your the one trying to take advantage of Julie!

Julie: Look Travis, i care for you and all, but Derecks right, you are always with that other girl Brienna and who knows else!

Travis: YOU HOE! YOU'LL REGRET THIS! NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU! I GAVE YOU A CHANCE AND YOU KNOW WHAT, GO AHEAD LEAVE ME BUT NO ONE ELSE WILL EVER CARE FOR YOU.

He stormed off into the house.

Dereck: Look Julie i am so sorry he said that!

Julie: *CRYS* No he is right i am nothing without him oh god,*crys more*

She shuts her window and turns off the light. Leaving Dereck alone, feeling sorry that Julie had to be involved with a jerk like his brother. He stood up and wiped away some blood from the fight and climbed into his window, across from hers.

Dereck thought to himself (If only me and her could be) He laid down on his bed and drifted off into his dreams.

Julie was in her room and was also laying in bed, but couldn't fall asleep. Her parents, like every other day, were arguing and she couldn't fall asleep with the cursing, and banging. She opened her window and climbed out.

She walked across the small side yard and knocked on Derecks window awaking him.

Dereck: hUh who's there?

Julie: Its me Julie, open up!

Dereck: Oh okay! *runs over to window despite he was only in his boxers.

Julie: My Parents are fighting *tear runs down her cheek* Can i sleep here tonight?

Dereck: Sure Julie, its not the first time you had to stay here (I feel bad that she is upset, but i am so glad she is here he thought)

He climbed onto the bottom bunk of his bed and she went to the top of the bunk bed.

Julie: Good night Dereck, thanks agian

Dereck: No prob,  good night

Julie:  good night
