The Great War
|
A long time ago when the ancient world was modern, creatures ruled the world. The greatest of all these creatures; the Kings and Queens who ruled all were the Dragons.
The skies grew dark when they took to the air and all of Mother Earth's creatures watched and bowed to them. Giants they were, untaimed and wise. When the first humans appeared, the Dragons' were the ones that gave them words. But arrogant these humans were and so with new knowledge they build up their numbers and armed their kin to fight those who had given them their intelect. For men fancied himself the ruler over all creatures.
The Alphas of these humans; Marius, the male and Elizabeth, the female, went to the moutian where all Dragons slept. They went with bloodlust in their hearts. The King of Kings, the Dragon who ruled over all was to be assinanted that night and thus ensure a victory for humanity. As they crept forward, blades glinting in the pale moonlight ready to stike. The great Dragon awoke and froze the humans with his mightly glare, and the Dragon felt betrayed.
The Dragon, though wise, was new to this feeling of betrayal. The anger welled inside his vast scalled body and uncontrolled he vented his new-found fury upon these humans. The steel blades they carried, seemingly still hot from the forge bonded themselves to the helpless bodies. The steel became fangs and claws that resemled those of the creatures the humans hunted. Mother Moon and Father Sun scorned the opposite sexed human so that Marius grew feral under moonlight and sunlight was Elizebeths poison. And worse of all, the Dragon's curse was the hunger. He ripped from them the appetite of humans and replaced it with the same blood-lust they had felt within their hearts. To make matters worse, the Dragon stopped Elizabeths heart, leaving her to be forever dead but yet still alive and for Marius, he was to change every full moon into the beast that roamed within him now. To seal the horrid deal, he pitted the two against each other to forever hate one another no matter what.
Thus began the Great War between Werewolves and Vampires.
