Dear Diary...11

Cam stared at Dar, "You’re clinically insane. Do you know that?" Cam stated, a snort escaping. "I mean where do get the right to say that Lohin, the guys who’s been so nice to me this whole time, is going to kill me?"

Dar snarled lightly, rubbing his fingers over his forehead as he tried desperately not to exploded on his new step-sister and mere halfling. "I’ve known Lohin much longer than you have, thus giving me the right to say such things." He cracked his neck, eyes locking on to hers, "Why do you think he’s being so nice to you hmm?" He asked.

"Because we’re getting married you twit." Cam stated, her own anger rising so easily. What was it about her new step-brother that made her want to hit him in that perfect looking face of his? Oh, I don’t know. A voice stated quietly, maybe the fact that he’s an ASSHOLE! "Maybe." She muttered to herself.

"So you believe me?" Dar asked, eyebrows raising. "That was quick.

"I was talking to you." Cam stated, sighing. "I was talking to the voice in my head."

Immediately, Cam regretted it because the look that Dar gave her proved how weird she now felt. "Okay, that came out wrong."

"Uh huh." Dar replied, standing. "Whatever, if you don’t believe that’s fine. I’ll just have to prove it to you over time."

"Prove what?" Lohin asked as he entered the room.

"Dar here thinks you’re trying to kill me." Cam stated, watching Dar glare at Lohin. "He’s insane right?"

"Yes," Lohin replied, a smirk on his lips. "He is."

Dar sneered at the two, before leaving Cam’s new room. If Cam had been watching Lohin’s features and not Dar leaving the room, she would of noticed the flicker of anger flash across his face and how his eyes became darker than normal.

Cam cleared her throat, "Right. Well I get a few days to settle in before I have to start my ‘Princess classes’." Cam stated, boredom evident on her voice. Princess classes, as Cam called them, were classes specifically made to help Cam become a Princess. How to help her future husband, how to dress properly, what to say at the right time, when not to say anything, how to sit, eat, walk, ride a horse. Cam was debating on asking her teachers if they would teach her about her powers and how to get her wings out to fly, but apparently they had already thought of that because Cam’s step mother had already arranged a class for Cam to learn her Fairy powers. "but I have something to ask you first."

"Shoot." Lohin stated, his normal demeanor returning as he sat himself down on her bed, next to Cam.

"Right, well I was wondering. Can we go back to the Human world for those few days? I sort of just left with any explanation and I bet the cops are wondering where I went. My friends too."

Lohin sighed, laying back in her bed. "I’d have to talk to my parents about it and you’d have to ask your own."

"That’s right." Cam muttered, scratching the side of her head. "I forgot." Cam wondered when her father and step mother would be free to ask.

"They’ll be in a meeting until dinner later on tonight. They’re arranging things for you."

"Oh." Cam muttered, cursing herself. Is that all she could say. Oh? That had been her response for almost everything once she had gotten here. She needed to start thinking up some new words. Fast.

"Are you going to be eating dinner with us?"

"Just the royal family." Lohin replied.

"But you’ll be married to me soon."

"But I’m not royalty yet."

Cam was about to open her mouth to say ‘Oh’ once more before she closed it and gave Lohin a smile. "Well how about I eat with you and your parents?"

Lohin shook his head. To Cam he looked slightly funny, the way he made the sheets move underneath him looked like he had more hair than intended. "No, you eat with your own parents. You have to get used to them sooner or later. Besides how would you ask them if you can go back to the Human World if you don’t ask them at dinner?"

Cam sighed, flopping down against the bed. "You’re right."

"I know." Lohin stated, smirking as he rolled over on to his side. "I’m always right."

"Smart ass." Cam murmured as Lohin leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips.

The sound of someone clearing their throat made them both jump. Now what? Cam thought, leaning up on her elbow to see Dar standing there, anger in his eye and a slight look of disgust. "Didn’t you just leave?" She snapped.

"I need to speak to Lohin in private." Cam glanced at Lohin and she noticed that both boys were glaring at each other. Why did they seem to hate each other so much? Cam wondered as she watched Lohin slide off of her bed, purposely giving her a kiss on the lips in front of Dar, and then sauntering after her new brother.
