The forgotten 2

After the game was over, she had walked over to the concession stand just to grab a Gatorade for the ride home. Her mom arrived and she got in the car.

"How was the game?"

"It was good. We lost though."

"Oh. That sucks."

"Yeah."

"Do you have any homework?"

"Just a worksheet in chemistry."

"I want that done as soon as we get home."

"Ok."

The rest of the ride was silence except for the radio. When Mandy got home, she put on the radio in her room and did her homework on her bed. The phone rang and she shouted ""I've got it!"      She anwered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey! It's Susie!"

"Oh hi! How did you remember my number?"

"I found it in my old address book. Haha."

Mandy laughed."Nice."

"I know. So what are you up to?"

"Nothing really. I just got done with my homework."

"You do your homework?"

"Well yeah!"

"Wow. Thats stupid. Why do your homework when you can have somebody else do it for you?"

"Because I would like to pass the 10th grade!! hahahaha."

"Ha. I dont really give a shit about passing or not."

"Thats not good dude."

"Yeah yeah."

Then Mandys mom called her upstairs.

"Well my moms callin me so I gotta go. Bye!"

"Ok. Bye."

When she got upstairs, she saw her moms cellphone laying on the table. She had her elbows on the table and her palms on her eyes. When she heard Mandy come upstairs, she removed her palms and Mandy had saw her bright red eyes and her mom was just sitting there ruefully.

"I cannot even explain in words how mad and disappointed I am right now."

"What did I do mom?"

"Why don't you ask the father of your child!"

Mandy was in total shock and she couldnt even say a word......
