"A Wild Runner

You run fast

Wild, and unstoppable.." 

Cynthia looked at the poem she just made. She read it all again and closed her book.

"This is useless.." Cynthia lied her head on the desk.  "I need inspiration.."

"Buh..." Cynthia jumped to her bed.

Wait for me catch ya at home."

Cynthia got up and walked downstairs. She felt a bit dizzy. Actually she had been so tired because of school chores. And summer holiday was a chance to sleep well.

"Mrs. Charlie! Nice to see ya! Good morning!" said Jeffrey to Cynthia's mom.

"Jeffrey? How nice to see you! How's Oxford?" asked Mrs. Charlie. She took Jeffrey to the dining room and served some cookies.

"Great! Can I meet Cynthia, Mrs. Charlie? Can I bring her somewhere?" said Jeffrey.

"Where?" Mrs. Charlie asked back curiously. 

"Don't worry, Mrs. Charlie, I'll take her to the beach. Can I?" Jeffrey smiled.

"Yea, but with Felicity." Mrs. Charlie served a glass of cola.

"Ok. Thx, mrs. Charlie." Jeffery took Cynthia to the bus stop.

"Hey, what's wrong with the beach?" Cynthia asked. Felciity said she was on the way to the beach too.

"No.. just wait.." they entered the bus.

SUNSHINE BEACH

"Cynthia!" Felicity shouted as she came to the beach.

"Felice! Hi!" Then they changed into beach clothes.

"Hey Felice! call Ryan and compete him on surfing! Cynthia and I will go get some ice cream!" Jeffrey waved at Felice.

"Hey, so what's up you're taking me here?' Cynthia enjoyed the warm sunshine shining her face.

"Come here, I got something to show you." Jeffrey hiked a small cliff.  "Here." He said as he sat on the rocks.

"Cool!" Cynthia was amazed. The view there was great. She didn't know there's a place like this at a beach.

They sat in silence. The sunshine ran through their bodies. The sky was so blue, like it was reflecting the ocean.

"Do you like this?" Jeffrey looked at Cynthia's face.

"Of course! But I want to see something better!" Cynthia laughed.

"I'll show you! But not now!" Jeffrey smiled.

"Hey I was kidding! There won't be any view better than this!" Cynthia looked so happy.

"THERE IS A PLACE! I'll show you! I promise!" Jeffrey hold Cynthia's hands. Then he took something from the sand. A sea shell-shaped necklace. "This is the sign of my promise. It's made of real shell. Means our friendship is real."  Jeffrey put that in Cynthia's hand.

"Wow.. thank you! This is wonderful..!" Cynthia looked at her blue sea-shell necklace.

"You're welcome.. Friends forever....?" Jeffrey asked.

"Friends forever..." Cynthia smiled.
