"Umm....? Are you OK?" said Jeffrey.
"Yea, of course I'm OK! Thank you for saving me!" Cynthia replied. They were being healed by the doctor at School's Health Center.
"Ok... Now you two can go home." said Dr. Michelle.
"Thank you, Doc! We appreciate it!" They both left the Health Center.
Meanwhile at Ken's house..
"WHY DIDN"T YOU HELP HER?!" Felicity shouted. Her face was all red of angry.
"I wasn't there!" Ken replied. He was lying. Pretended that the accident never exist.
"I saw with MY OWN EYES that you were there, watching her ALMOST CRUSH by A CAR!" Felice couldn't believe her own eyes.
"No, I wasn't th..."
"YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT LOOSER! You are even to weak to rescue your own girl! I'm too mad to see your face!" Felice ran away from Ken's house.
Ken sat down on his navy-blue carpet. He screamed in his heart.
"WHY? WHY CAN'T I HELP HER? WHY? I'M SUCH A LOOSER! AND I LET JEFFREY HELP HER! I HATE ME!" He jumped to the bed.
The next morning...
"Hi KEN! Do you know what happened yesterday?! I bet you don't!" said Cynthia happily.
"Umm... I don't.. what is it?" lied Ken. He tried to stay calm.
"I bet you wasn't there! I was almost being crush by a car! And guess who saved me?" said Cynthia.
"Umm.. dunno.." Ken smiled.
"JEFFREY! Our OWN classmate!" Cynthia was so happy.
Suddenly, Felicity came and put her bag on her desk.
"Hi, Cynthia!" She said as she take a glimpse at Ken.
"Hi, Felice!" said Cynthia.
Ken freezed. He knew that Felicity will tell her everything.
"Do you know what happened to me yesterday?" asked Cynthia to Felice.
"Yea, I heard about it from Layla. She said Jeffrey was 100 meter away from you, but he ran to help you. He's such a NICE guy." said Felice with a sarcastic tune.
"YES! He's so nice!" Cynthia smiled.
"But you weren't there right, Ken? If you did, you'd definitely help Cynthia, right?" Felice smiled. "teasing" him rudely.
"Of course! He's my boy!" Cynthia laughed and smiled at Ken.
Ken smiled, he felt guilty.

Ken's a wimp. Cynthia deserves to know the truth! Dump that loser and take Jeffrey! He may have lame pick up lines, but at least he isn't a coward. keep me posted! |
