The bar was loud, there seamed to be a lot of discussion about the baseball game. There was some kind of fight on first base. Logan looked around the room, eyeing the old pictures all over the walls. "Logan's a musician." Brody spat out, eyes glazed over from his seventh shot. Logan snapped back into reality, "What?" "A Musician? That's hot." One of Michelle's bubble brained friends giggled. "Don't play dumb man.. I've seen the lyrics you write in that notebook." Brody grinned. "You looked in my notebook? I'm officially going to have to kill you." Logan muttered, taking another shot. Brody and Michelle laughed, arms wrapped around eachother. Logan looked at the air head and faked a smile. She pointed at his refreshed lip piercing, "Doesn't that hurt?" He shook his head, "I've had it done before... a long time ago before I joined the Army." "Soldier boy?" She gasped, "I love men in uniform!" Logan looked at Brody who had a huge smile on his face. He shook his head and rolled his eyes, this was Brody's doing. "Brody plays guitar." Logan spat out inbetween shots. Brody's smile faded, causing Logan to chuckle. "What?" Brody asked. "C'mon," Logan smiled, "Don't play dumb. I've seen you rock out in the basement." Michelle looked at Brody, "You never mentioned you played guitar..." "I didn't?" Brody nervously laughed, shooting Logan a glare then looked back at Michelle, "Well yeah that's because I just started." Logan shook his head, "He's a pro with the strings..." 'G Strings maybe...' Logan thought to himself. He poured some more Jack into the shot glass and downed it immediately.
Rene threw her long brown hair up in a clip and straightened out her shirt. She walked out of the bathroom and returned to the bar. Her girlfriends laughed hysterically as the alcohol mixed with their blood. Rene shook her head and laughed, taking a drink of her margarita. "So Rene, how's Thomas?" Her friend, Heather, asked. She shrugged, "He's... Thomas." "Has he proposed yet?" MiMi chuckled. She got her nickname after she got so drunk and started exclaiming 'MiMi!'. Rene rolled her eyes, "We've only been together for acouple months MiMi..." MiMi shrugged, "You two act like a married couple though..." Rene ignored her and drank some more.
"So are you guys like... in a band?" Michelle's friend asked. Logan rubbed his head as the room started to spin. Brody shook his head, "We're just artistic friends." Logan chuckled and nearly fell over the table. Michelle laughed, "Is he okay?" Brody sighed, "Yeah, he's been through a lot so he gets this way when he has alcohol." Logan sat up and shrugged, "I'm not a drunk Brody, I just think it'd funny Michelle's friend eats up everything you say..." He busted out laughing, taking another shot of Jack. Michelle frowned and looked over at her friend Stacy aka the airhead. "Excuse me," Stacy snapped,"You're very rude." "And you're very clueless so let's call it even." Logan muttered. Everyone got really quiet and Michelle shifted in her seat, "Well... I think we're going to go." Brody glanced at Logan then back at her, "Aww no, don't go." She kissed Brody's cheek, glared at Logan then pulled Stacy away. Brody sighed, "You're on a role there Logan..." Logan nodded, "I do my best to keep you away from the dumb sluts... what can I say?" Brody rose, grabbing his beer, "No Logan, you try to keep me from enjoying myself because you're so miserable." He patted Logan's shoulder and walked away. Logan rolled his eyes and downed another shot, his throat felt like it was on fire.
"So when are you going back to Florida and why?" Mimi asked, drunkily slouching next to Rene. Rene cleared her throat, "I went to highschool there, the reunions next Monday, I'm leaving tommorow." MiMi grinned, "Are you hoping to see someone again?" Rene thought of Logan and sighed, "You could say that."
The girl from earlier that day walked into the bar but Logan was too smashed to try and walk away. He bowed his head and stared at the half empty bottle. "Hey you." A voice greeted. He looked up to see her, it was Rene. Not his Rene, the Rene from the beach. "Are you following me?" He joked, winking. Rene blushed and laughed, "No, should I?" Logan shrugged, "I'm going home soon." She looked him up and down, "Good luck getting there." He waved, "Thanks." Rene crawled up on the bar stool next to him, "So, what's the occasion?" "Moving on and living life..." Logan muttered, forgetting what the other Rene looks like. She smiled, "Sounds nice, can I join you?" He looked over at her and smiled, "That depends, in which way...?" Rene leaned over, placing her hand on his thigh then she whispered in his ear. She looked at him and smiled, "Now, what do you say? You want to show me all your muscles?" Logan laughed and opened his mouth to say something then Brody walked up. "Hey honey," Brody cheered, pulling Logan off the stool, "We have to go home now..bye nice lady." Rene laughed and waved. "What are you doing?" Logan muttered, eyes rolling in the back of his head as his feet trailed through the gravel parking lot. "You'll thank me in the morning." Brody grunted, placing Logan in the passenger seat of his truck. He tossed Michelle Logan's keys to his car, "Follow us." She slightly nodded and Stacy followed her to Logan's black camaro. Stacy sitting in Rene's vacant spot.
