   "Logan!" Gretta gasped, "Your hand..." Logan looked down as his hand bruised and swelled. He sighed, "I'm alright Gretta... I'm fine." She shook her head, "No, I'm sending you to the nurse.." She walked behind the counter and started writing him a pass. He looked back at the dent in the wall and pushed books infront of it. After writing the pass, Gretta walked over and handed it to him. Logan smiled, "Thanks..." "Good luck." Gretta kindly smiled , glancing at his hand. He nodded and walked back into the door, pushing it open.

    "Hey!" Danny exclaimed, grabbing Rene's arm as she raced past, "What's wrong?" She shook her head, "Nothing I'm just not in a good mood..." "Why?" He asked, giving her a hug. Rene pulled away and sighed, "I'm just not, okay?" Danny shrugged, "Okay, I'm sorry." He kissed her cheek, "I'll see you at the game later..."  Rene watched as he walked away and she rolled her eyes. 'Oh yeah..' She thought, 'The game...'

    It was dark and growing cold. The school was winning by 7. The crowd cheered wildly as tackles were handed out left and right. Rene's teeth chattered as her and the girls bounced around, trying to keep warm. She smiled at the crowd and cheered with them. Danny turned and pointed at her. Rene smiled and waved her pom poms around. Her hair twisted into a pony tail with soft ringlets. Then, when she looked back into the crowd, she saw Logan. Her smile faded and she stared at him.

    Logan looked away when he noticed Rene saw him looking at her. Kiera plopped down next to him and sighed, "Hey... why are we here again?"  He shrugged, "I've never been to a football game and this is the last home game.." "So in other words, this is the last time you'll see Rene outside of school?" Kiera asked, eyeing Rene as she cheered. "Drop it.." He muttered, sipping on his hot cocoa. Kiera rolled her eyes, "Whatever dude, I'm out." She got up and walked down the bleachers. Logan shook his head and looked back at Rene.

    The horn blew and the game was over,  they beat the opposite team by 7. Rene and the girls cheered and their hair bounced as they all did high kicks in unison. The football team cheered and crowded around Danny who was holding up the football. He was lifted up and he pointed at Rene. Danny threw the football to her and she stepped back as she caught it. Rene smiled and held it up. The crowd roared with excitement. Except for Logan, he looked away in distgust.

    " That was a good game..." Rene complimented as they walked to Danny's car. She linked her arm with his and looked up at him. Danny nodded, "One of the best of the season... did you have fun? You looked really cute out there." Rene slightly nodded, " Cheerleading's what I'm good at I guess..it's what I do." He smiled and kissed the side of her cheek, " I bet all the guys were jealous knowing you're my girl." Rene sighed, "Yeah..." "You are my girl right?" He asked, unlocking his car. Rene looked at him over the roof of the car and shrugged, "I'm your girlfriend but I'm not property Danny.." Danny frowned, "I didn't mean to make it seam that way." She pulled his jacket tighter around her , "Well that's how it sounds." He rolled his eyes and got into the car. Rene shook her head and opened the door. She noticed Logan getting into his car and she frowned. Logan looked at her and stared blankly. "Get in babe, before you freeze..." Danny muttered. Rene got into the car and shut the door. "So, since your parents are home you want to go to my place?' He asked, looking over at her, "We can hang out and watch a movie or something." Rene shrugged, "We can do that at my house..." Danny raised an eyebrow and grinned, " We've been going to your house all the time, how about you come see mine." Even though she didn't like the sound of going to his house, she slightly nodded.

    Logan drove home with one hand since his other one's broken now. He glanced down at the black cast and sighed. After pulling into the driveway, he noticed Hugh's car was there. "Great..." He muttered, getting out of his car. Logan shook his head and walked up to the front porch.

    Rene looked up as the car stopped and Danny took the keys out of the ignition. He sighed, "Well, we're here." She eyed the large brick home with a chandelier hanging in the inside of the archway. "And your parents aren't home?" Rene asked, getting out. Danny shut the driver's door and locked the car. He shook his head, walking around to her, "Nope, they went on a vacation." "For how long?" Rene asked, as they walked towards his dark house. He shrugged, "About a week or so why, you want to stay here?" She slightly laughed, "Not really, I was just curious.." Danny opened the front door and flicked on the hallway light. Rene's cheerleading shoes lightly tapped the floor as she walked across the wooden glaze. Danny shut the door and smiled at Rene, "You really have no idea how cute you look." She shrugged, "Thanks..."  He walked over and wrapped his arms around her, "So, would you like to watch a movie? Make a pizza?"  "I take it you have something else in mind..." She muttered, noticing the twinkle in his eye. Danny grinned, "No, of course not..." He started kissing her neck and he slowly pressed her up against the wall. Lifting her up as he continued to kiss her. "Danny..." Rene sighed," Put me down... I dont want to do this.." He ignored her and started unzipping her cheerleading skirt. "Danny.. no. stop." She demanded pushing his hand away. Danny grabbed her hands and held them above her head with one of his hands. "Danny!" Rene snapped, "Stop!" She looked up to see Logan's car pulling up his driveway.
