  'How could he have a girlfriend and not tell me?' Rene thought to herself, while sitting in first hour. She looked over at Logan who was staring down at his assignment, lost in thought. He looked up and she looked away. 'Is she prettier than me?' She wondered, 'Is it because I don't dress like him?' Danny entered the classroom and sat behind Rene. He tapped her shoulder,"Rene, can we talk?" She rolled her eyes, "Danny, when will you take a hint?" "I want to know what I have to do to show you I'm sorry..." He somewhat pleaded. Rene turned and looked at him, "You expect me to forget about how you made a bet you could sleep with me??" "It was mainly Ronny... James didn't want to participate.. it was just for laughs." He explained. She laughed, "Why am I not surprised it was Ronny's idea... James really needs to get away from you losers before you rub off on him." James and Ronny walked in and glanced at Rene and Danny before they sat down. "Did you tell her Danny?" Ronny asked, grinning. Rene sighed, "If you're talking about the pathetic bet you two made, yeah he told me. And somehow I'm not surprised." Ronny shook his head, "I could give two shits what you think of me... but did you tell her that her 'friend' Logan, was flirting with some girl in the library earlier today?"  "It was probably his girlfriend." Rene snapped, "So mind your own buisness." Ronny laughed, "What's wrong Rene? Couldn't get him to fall for you?" She shrugged, "Maybe I didn't want him to, we're just friends... something you can't comprehend Ronny.."  James rolled his eyes, "You all act like fucking children." "That's funny coming from someone who associates with the most immature males in this school." Rene sarcastically laughed. Danny sighed, "Everyone shut up. Rene, if I come over today can we talk? I'll sit outside and you can sit inside I dont care.. I just want to talk to you." "Whatever.." She muttered.

    'No, tell me she did not just agree to letting Danny come over..' Logan thought to himself, 'How stupid can she be? He's not sorry... he's an asshole!' He looked back down at the assignment he has yet to start. 'I'm an asshole too... for lieng to her." Logan rested his head on one hand and tapped his fingers on the desk. The bell rang and everyone rose. He gathered his things and looked up to see Danny kiss her cheek. She shyly smiled and then walked out. 'No...' Logan thought to himself, ' Don't fall for it... he doesn't love you like I do.'

    After a few classes, it was finally time for lunch. Danny was waiting outside of Rene's class. She walked out and looked at him funny. "Is it okay I waited for you?" He asked, "If not, I can go." Rene shrugged, "Whatever floats your boat." Danny slightly laughed and walked beside her, "We don't have to sit near the guys today, I fully understand that you don't like Ronny." "And he doesn't like me.." She added. "So, where would you like to eat our lunch?" He asked, smiling down at her like he used to. Rene sighed, "How about the library?"

     "You want me to do what?" Kiera, a blue-haired teen asked. Logan sighed, "I want you to pretend to be my girlfriend.... just for a little while until I can sort things out." She laughed, "Woah Logan, you're hot and all but we're just friends... besides, who are you trying to make jealous?" "No one, I just.. I told her I had a girlfriend and now I need someone to play the part." He explained. Kiera smiled, "Who are we talking about exactly?" "Rene.." Logan muttered. Kiera gasped, "As in Rene Watson? The new pretty girl of the school?" He slightly nodded, "I got what I wanted and she hinted towards liking me...and I freaked out and told her I had a girlfriend." "Why would you do that!" Kiera gasped. "I don't know!" Logan exclaimed, "Just help me out.." "And what do you mean by you got what you wanted?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. He rolled his eyes, "I didn't mean it like that. I meant that I wanted her to like me and now that she hinted she did I freaked out..." Kiera looked past him and sighed, "Well, here's our chance to put on a show." Logan looked back to see Rene and Danny entering the library. He frowned and looked back at Kiera. She shrugged, "You can still tell her the truth you know.."

   Danny pulled out the chair and Rene sat down. "Is all this a front?" Rene asked, looking over at him as he sat next to her. He sighed, "No Rene, this isn't a front.. I'm proving to you that I can change." She looked up to see Logan walking over. "You can't eat in the library.." He muttered, glancing at their trays of food. "Hey Logan, how's it going?" Danny asked, smiling at him then Rene. She sank in her chair and looked around the room. Kiera walked up and wrapped her arms around Logan. "Aww babe, let them eat.. this is a lot more quieter than that crazy cafeteria.. besides maybe they need some quiet time to get romantic." She winked and kissed his cheek. Rene rose and grabbed her tray, "Actually Danny, I'm not very hungry anyways... excuse me." She dumped the tray in the library garbage and left the tray on the counter. Danny grabbed her tray and followed her out. "What are you doing!" Logan gasped, eyes wide. Kiera shrugged, "I did what you asked.. maybe you should've thought about this before?" She patted his back and left the library. Logan ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
