    Rene entered class the next day and glanced at Danny. He had this puppy dog face and he was holding a card in his hand. She noticed a teddy bear sitting at her desk. She picked it up, handed it to the girl next to her and sat down. Danny sighed, "Babe, I'm really sorry." "Whatever, don't talk to me..." Rene muttered. "What did you do?" She heard James ask Danny. "This isn't mine.." The girl next to her muttered, holding the teddy bear.Rene faked a smile, "It is now.. better yet, would you switch seats with me.. maybe for the next couple days?"  The girl looked confused, "Umm.. sure." Rene smiled, "Thanks.." She gathered her things, ignored Danny's stare and switched seats with the girl. The teacher walked in and Rene took out her notebook. Today was going to be all about school, no more boy drama.

   'What did I miss?' Logan asked himself watching Rene create a distance between her and Danny. He could tell by the expression on Danny's face he had done something he shouldn't have. "Way to go Logan," He told himself, "Abandon her right before something goes wrong."

 "Rene.." Danny whispered, "I know you can hear me."  Rene rolled her eyes and continued taking notes. The girl, now sitting inbetween them, kept glancing at them. "Do you want this?" She asked Danny, picking up the teddy bear. He shook his head, "Not if she won't take it." "What did you do to the poor thing?" The girl frowned, "You two are always so cute and now she won't even look at you.." Danny nodded, "Thanks for the reminder." "Rene.." He tried whispering again. "How about we hold all of our highschool drama for after my class?" The teacher asked, while writing the notes on the board. Rene smirked and kept writing.

 The bell rang and Rene was first out the door. She was walking super fast and trying to get to her next class. Danny caught up with her and grabbed her arm, "Wait!" Rene yanked her arm away and looked at him. He frowned and retracted his hand, "Rene.. I'm sorry... I don't know what came over me.." She shook her head, " I really don't care Danny..." She brushed past him and kept walking. He watched her dissapear around the corner and he bowed his head.

   Logan replayed in his mind how fast Rene pulled her arm away when Danny grabbed her. She looked somewhat scared, more pissed off though. He couldnt put his finger on what was happening though. Why the sudden change? Was she just sick of everything like she said? Or did something happen after he left? He sighed and walked to his next class, unable to put any of the pieces together.

    Rene sat in her classroom and stared out the window as the teacher gave a boring lecture. Too many thoughts were running through her head. 'Is Danny really sorry?' 'Has he done worse before?' 'Is Logan really just going to stop talking to me?' "Ms. Watson, would you like to tell the class whats so fascinating outside?" The teacher called out. Rene shrugged, "Everything's more fascinating than your boring lectures..." The teachers jaw dropped and chuckles went back and forth. "Go Watson." A guy sitting behind her laughed. "Ms. Watson , I'm guessing you know where the office is?" The teacher asked, trying to sound all big bad. Rene smiled, "You guessed correct." She gathered her things and walked down the aisles of desks. Everyone cheered as she exited the classroom.

    "Ms. Watson, was your little remark necessary?" The assistant principal asked, crossing his arms. Rene ignored him and stared at the zit engulfing the tip of his nose. "Ms. Watson?" He repeated. She shrugged, "What's the price to pay for being honest?"  Mr. Fredricks shifted in his chair," Ms. Watson, as boring as classes are sometimes... theres no reason to insult a teacher like that." Rene sighed, "Are we done yet?" He rolled his eyes, "You will serve a detention in the library today after school... by the way, I heard you've been missing your cheerleading practices lately...you need to start attending those or you won't be apart of the squad.." "Oh, what a shame..." She sarcastically gasped. "Enjoy your two hour detention Ms. Watson, you may leave now." Mr. Fredricks scolded. Rene rose from the deep chair and left the office. The bell rang, time for lunch. She didn't even want to see Danny so she headed straight for the library.

    Logan handed a student their book, "Have a nice day." Rene walked in and went straight for her usual table. His heart skipped a beat and he sighed. The door opened and Danny walked in. 'Oh great, this can't be good.' Logan thought. Danny spotted her across the room and walked over.

    "Rene?" Danny muttered. She looked back at him and sighed, "Go away Danny..." He shook his head, " I can't do that... not until you know that  I'm sorry." Rene rubbed her head, " I really don't want to do this right now.." "Well when will it be a good enough time for you?" He asked, sounding pissy. " I. Dont. Know!" She snapped, slamming her hands down onto the table. A few students looked over and Gretta came out of her office. "Are you trying to make an ass of yourself?" Danny asked. She rolled her eyes, "No, I'm trying to draw attention so everyone sees how pathetic you are when you follow me around like a sick puppy!" He shook his head, "You're being ridiculous..." "No, ridiculous is how you slammed me into the wall yesterday!" She yelled. Everyone looked over now, not looking away. Logan walked from around the counter. Tears were rolling down her face now. Danny looked around then back at Rene, "Wish granted, I'll leave you alone.."  He turned and left the library. Rene rose and grabbed her stuff. She turned and Logan was right there. He wrapped his arms around her and she let everything fall. Her arms wrapped around him and she cried into his shirt. Logan closed his eyes and sighed, "It's okay Rene, I won't let go...not this time."
