Rene woke up and saw Danny sleeping next to her. She smiled and closed her eyes. Then she realised it was a school day. She gasped, sat up and looked at the time. 7:15. "Shit.." She grumbled, crawled out of bed and ran into the bathroom. 5 minutes later, she jumped out of the shower and got dressed. "Danny get up!" She yelled, turned on the blow dryer and started to dry her hair. Danny sat up and tiredly rubbed his eyes, "What?" He looked at the time and shot out of the bed, "Oh shit!" Rene laughed when he tripped over her stereo, "Nice going grace, how's charm school?" He sarcastically laughed, "Hahaha... can I use your shower now?" She turned off the hair dryer and nodded, "Yeah, I'm going to finish getting ready downstairs." They crossed paths and he shut the bathroom door.

 Logan stared blankly at the iron bars across the cell. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "How ya doing kid?" The officer on guard asked. "Well, this place smells really bad and I really don't need to be here... that asshole threw a glass bottle at my HEAD.... I broke his nose, so why isn't he here?"  Logan asked sarcastically. The officer shrugged, "You threw the first punch son... he's had his warning you however took the matter in your own hands..which is never a good idea. Your lucky he's not pressing charges." Logan looked up, "What?.... then why am I even here?" "Your mom requested we bring you here.. let you cool down, show you what happens when you get physical with another person." The officer explained. Logan slightly laughed, "You're telling me...my own MOTHER requested I stay in this shit hole?"  He nodded, "That's exactly what I'm saying Mr. Pierce." Logan shook his head and laughed, "You have got to be shitting me....that fucking bitch." "Hey," The officer frowned, "Don't talk about your mother that way... you think it was easy for her to put you in here?" Logan nodded, "Actually I do.. because I can only imagine what she had to DO to make sure there weren't any charges."

 Rene and Danny entered their first hour and James whistled. "Swimming lead to something else? You two never come in here at the same time..." James teased. Danny laughed and shook his head, "Shut up..." "Yeah, shut up... we were watching a movie and fell asleep." Rene snapped. She looked at Logan's seat which was empty. "Damn, you on the rag?" James asked, eyeing Danny. "Fuck you James!" Rene snapped, this time louder. The teacher looked up and everyone looked at her. Danny sighed, "Leave her alone..." James held up his hands in defence, "Okay, sorry." Rene sighed and laid her head down on her desk.

 Logan glanced at the clock, "I have to go to school." "I can't let you out until  your mom comes to get you." The officer explained. "I'll let myself out... I don't want to see her right now." Logan muttered. The door separating the holding cell room and the department building opened and Logan's mom walked in. The officer rose, " Hello Ms. Pierce, are you hear to take this nice man to school?"  She tiredly looked at Logan, "Yes, he has to go to school... I'll take him home so he can shower then he can go to school." Logan rose and looked her dead in the eye. "How thoughtful of you." He sarcastically smiled.

 " I wonder what he did now..." James muttered looking back at Logan's empty desk. "Maybe he's sick?" Rene shrugged. All the guys laughed, "Yeah okay...sick in the head maybe." Rene rolled her eyes, "Maybe you guys are sick in the head.." They stopped laughing. Danny narrowed his eyes, "You okay?" "No," She sighed,"I'm not...I'm tired of you guys talking about him like that when you don't even know him."  Ronny nodded, "I knew him... and he was psycho." "How?" Rene asked, turning around to face him, "What made him psycho??" "Just stuff he did..." Ronny shrugged. "Like what?" She demanded, crossing her arms. "You need to tighten that leash on your girl Dan.." Ronny grumbled. "I'm not and never will be on a 'leash'..." Rene snapped, rose and walked out of the classroom. The bell rang excusing everyone and Danny shot Ronny a mean glance.

 Logan walked out of the bathroom and wiped his hair with a towel. He grabbed his 30 seconds to Mars t-shirt and put on his cross necklace. After getting his black tripp pants on, he started spiking his hair with gell. His mom appeared in his doorway and crossed her arms. He sighed, "What do you want?"  She sniffed and wiped tears off her cheek, "I'm sorry Logan...I just... I don't like the idea of you thinking violence will solve things.." "I'm not a violent person mom but when some JACKASS decides it's okay to throw a glass bottle at my head, I am going to get violent.. it's called self defence." "He wasn't attacking you Logan.." His mom frowned. "HE THREW A GLASS BOTTLE AT MY HEAD MOM! WAKE UP!" Logan snapped. He wiped his hands off on the towel, put his piercings back in and walked past his mom, "I have to go to school." "Logan!" Betty called after him, "We'll talk after school?" He sighed, "Whatever."

 The bell rang and everyone filed into the hallway. "Hey..." Danny greeted as Rene walked out of her classroom. "I really don't want to talk about first hour..." Rene muttered, walking beside him down the hallway.  He nodded, "That's fine... but.. we do need to talk about whatever's bothering you.." "You want to know what's bothering me Danny?" Rene asked, pausing long enough to look at him, "I hate your friends." She kissed his cheek, turned and walked away. Danny sighed and walked to the cafeteria.

 Logan entered the library after a long discussion in the attendance office. Gretta smiled, "Logan, so good to see you... I didn't think you were going to be here today." He nodded, "Me either." "Is everything alright?" Gretta asked, frowning. Logan looked up to see Rene enter the library, she was walking pretty fast and she looked upset. "Yeah, everything's fine.." He stated, watching Rene closely. She slammed her stuff down on the table and sat down. "Oh, there's your friend.." Gretta muttered, "She looks sad, why don't you go talk to her." Logan slightly nodded, walked around the counter and walked over to Rene's table. "Hey..." He muttered. Rene lifted her head and looked up to see Logan looking down at her. "Hey..." Her voice sounded hoarse as if she was trying not to cry. "You okay?" Logan asked, frowning. She shook her head, "I'm just tired..." "Physically or emotionally?" Logan asked, slightly smiling. Rene shrugged, "Both?" "I have an idea..." He took her hand, "Let's leave." She smiled, "And go where?" Logan shrugged, "Where do you want to go?" She sighed, "I want to go home..."  He nodded and  picked up her backpack, "Home it is."
