Re-united at Last
-One Month Later-
Jen walked across the fresh-cut grass and stopped infront of the marble headstone. Her hair blew to the side as she placed a single white rose on the grave. Tyler ran up and stopped abruptly. He looked up at Jen and she nodded, "It's okay." Tyler nodded and placed another rose on the grave. He walked back to Jen and leaned against her. A tear rolled down her cheek and she wiped it away. " I wanted to thank you for letting me meet Tyler... he's a gift I never got to recieve myself..." Jen explained, " He's my new boy..." She slightly smiled and placed one hand on her stomach, " And Michael Jr., he's going to be just like his daddy..." Tyler slightly laughed, " Jen told daddy a little too late about Michael Jr. ..." Jen nodded, " Yes I did..." She cleared her throat, " Thank you... for bringing my boys to me..." A car door shut , Tyler and Jen looked over. Michael came over with the help of crutches. Jen looked back at Hailey's headstone, "Most of all, thank you for bringing Michael back..." Tyler ran over and embraced Michael in a hug. "Hey buddy..." Michael smiled. "I love you dad." Tyler smiled. Michael nodded and looked at Jen, " I love you too..." Jen walked over and stared into Michael's eyes. She glanced at a small scar on Michael's left temple. Michael sighed, " Jen, I'm okay." Jen smiled with tears in her eyes, " I know..." Michael turned but glanced back before he headed back to the car with Tyler. Jen looked back at Hailey's headstone. A ray of sun light shined down on it. "Goodbye Hailey." Jen blew a kiss and walked away.
