I could see someone else over me. I turned for outside of Adam's chest. Wriggling around like a ferret. His arms wrapped around my shoulders still. I didn't force him to let go, eaither. "Antonio? You sure got here late." Adam suddenly informed. But this was Antonio? The Antonio I used to know had long, blond hair, with an Italian smile. Now, this Antonio had a shaved head, crew-cut or something. He just didn't look the same. They couldn't be the same. Last time I saw Antonio, I used to have the biggest crush on him. Spencer would tell me that Antonio did nothing but get hurt, and say smart-ass remarks. But I really couldn't care less. He was the most beautiful eyes, and the sweetest smile when you were down, and always used to comfort me.

"Yeah..." Now, Antonio seemed to be a little down. I didn't see his smile. I at least thought that he would be a tiny bit happy to see me. No smile. No sparking eyes. Just bald, Antonio.

"How do you know Antonio, Adam?" I asked. Adam was supposed to be new. "I stayed here last year with my Aunt. She sent me here so I would get outta the house. Antonio and I used to be good friends. Right?" He smiled up at Antonio.

"Yeah..." he repeated, looking away.

"Antonio...Are you okay?" Spencer asked. "You haven't said one dumb thing yet. No, 'you old guys!' or, 'Man! At least I'm still beautiful!'" Big bro even cared about this new ways. "Ha, well...I am." He smiled a bit. Just a bit though. I looked up too Adam. "You came here last year?" I was trying real hard to change the subject.

"Yeah, but I don't remember seeing you here." He chuckled. I smiled a bit and leaned my head against his chest. Inside, I was still worrying about Antonio. Maybe...I could have feelings for him. Besides, I never did get over him. "I didn't see you eaither...Adam." Without looking, I felt Adam's smile disappear. I couldn't let him know about Antonio. But somehow, I felt like I shouldn't even think about it. Like he could read minds. "At least I met you now!" Brightening up the mood was hard. Spencer scowled. "Whatever." He smiled too. But there was barely anyway to help change the subject. We all knew that something was different. That there was something that none of us could describe. Everything was different now. Antonio, me, Adam, Spencer. We all had changed over the course of a school year. Though the feelings inside me for Antonio were still there, I had to push them away. I was with Adam now. And Adam would never leave me hanging like Antonio did.

At least, he shouldn't.
