      There was a tremendous amount of heat building up on my arms. I watched the air start to shimmer from the immense heat. All at once, my arms ignited into a red-and-black inferno of anger and hatred. The aura seemingly doubled as the flames began to blend in with it. I looked over to Angelestia and Karyudo.

      "Well, what the fuck are you people waiting for? Thought you said it would take everyone to take on this guy."

      I heard Angelestia break out into a melodic song that calmed lance a little, but not enough to stop him. I saw Jin's body begin to twitch. He rose up and pulled the crossbow bolt from his neck.

      "You fool Karyudo. You all of these people here ought to know that to kill a vampire, it must go through the heart, at least for my clan. 'Undead hunter' indeed, you don't even know how to kill. Ah, I see you pissed off Lance. Have fun dealing wi-"

      I was listening to him talk, when all at once a crossbow bolt, dripping with Holy Water, was stuck into the center of his neck. Before the blood could even begin to seep out, another bolt was struck into the center of his chest. I watched as Jin's body began to shake and tremble, sending a shower of his black colored blood over everyone.

      "I'll be back for you Karyudo, you've escaped twice so far."

      I watched as Jin's body exploded into an inferno. The heat from it was stronger than that coming off of my arms. When the flames died down, only his armor was left where he had been standing.

      I had noticed Angelestia flinch when the bolt had went through Jin's neck. She seemed to shudder a bit from it. I turned, just in time, to see the end of Karyudo's trenchcoat and his feet disappearing into the tress above.

      "Son of a bitch. Angelestia, do we have enough power without him to take this guy out?"

      "I don't know, he's got a lot of power in him. But then again, everyone has their weakness."

      "Then why the fuck are we just standing around? Let's go for it!"

      I charged at Lance as I said that. I was moving fast, but Lance was moving faster. I could barely keep up as he threw blow after blow and thrust after thrust from his halberd at me. I struck back at him as I could, and Angelestia's whip came cracking in very often. I knocked him back a few feet by hitting him instead of trying to stab him. he charged at me, and swung at my face. I raised the daggers to block the blow right before it reached my face, but realised too late that it had been an illusion. I felt the flesh on my stomach tearing, the warm blood spewing everywhere and runnging to my feet.

      "D-damnit, wh-why'd it have t-to hap-happen before I ki-killed you?"

      My wings folded across my stomach, trying to stop the bleeding. It was to no avail, the wound was too deep. My eyes faded to back to black, and the flare-inferno on my arms died out. My right hand changed halfway back to normal, leaving the rooted tendrils over my entire right arm as well as my chest. My strength began to fade, and I dropped to my knees, blood starting to run from my mouth.

      "An-Angelestia, finish h-hi-him wh-while he triumphs over my d-death."

      I fell on my back, my body no longer able to support me.I watched what was happening, even though my vision was beginning to fade out.

      Anglestia looked very, very enraged. She reached behind and pulled out another whip. She swung both the whips in her hands, and wrapped them both tightly around Lance's neck. She walked closer to him and used the whip-like parts of her to tear open Lance's skin. His red blood was starting to run down where the whips were hitting him.His eyes began to fade and glaze over a little as he was continually choked by the whips...
