a bet worth waiting on 12

surprisingly i woke up alone.

still in chris's bed, it was early around 8:00

i felt kinda wierd in chris's bed without him there.

i sat up a little bit and looked around but chris was no where in site.

maybe he had to take care of somthing with his father? i dont know.

i got out of bed and neatly made the bed back up, as i was folding over the last corner to the blanket i noticed a shiny picture frame.

the picture frame i had broken, it was kinda dented and the glass was missing but the picture was still unscathed.

i smiled thinking about that day, that was the last time we were all together.

"tay you still down there?" i heard the stairs creak from above as chris called down to me.

"yeah" i called back

as he came into view he was wearing a towel around his waist, hair damp, and skin glistening wet.

i couldnt pull my eye's away, obviously he could tell as well with the ear to ear smirk he was wearing as he walked to his dresser and took out a pair of boxers.

"i'll be up stairs" i started for the stairs bowing my head in embaressment.

"no stay" he said grabbing me around the waist and pulling me towards him.

"no really chris i dont-" he pulled over to his couch and ploped down pulling me along with him into his lap.

"tay it's not a big deal, i mean it's big but i dont see a problem" he said with a michivious smile crossing his face.

i turned around smacking him hard on the chest "show me some respect will ya" i said angrily trying to pull away from him.

he held me tight around my waist agianst him " i'm sorry you just" there was that smile agian " drive me crazy"

this i had to laugh at he was using my stupid line's agianst me.

"seriously tay i'm sorry im just not me right now and if this makes you uncomfortable, well then im sorry" he said realasing his grip and placing both hands on either side of my shoulders as he leaned forward and kissed my neck.

"mmm" i said as i began to lean back into him "let's go get breakfast" i said jumping to my feet.

he sighed throwing his head back " you know how much of a tease you are?"

"shut up and get dressed drama queen" i smiled backing out of the room up the stairs.

20 minutes later found me and chris at I-hop around the corner at the mall.

"what can get for you handsome?" our waitress couldnt have been that much older than chris with dirty blonde hair, a milky complexion, and shocking blue eye's.

"um im not quite sure, tay what are you getting?" he said looking over his menu then flickering his gaze onto me.

"a tooty frooties with strawberries" i smiled " with a sprite please" i placed my menu down onto the table looking down.

"can you wait your turn?" the waitress's voice was nasty and sharp.

"excuse me?" i said looking up at the girl.

"you heard me, im not done with this cutie over here" she said smiling at chris who was still scanning his menu then turned her violent gaze back to me.

" oh hell no, you want your ass kicked right now" i said sliding to the end of the booth but before i could chris's hand snaked around my waist pulling me back into the crook of his arm.

"baby calm down, and make that two tooty frooties with strawberries and sprites" he said taking my menu and his and handing it to the girl.

"want some extra whip cream on yours?" she said twisting her hair playfully.

"like im not sitting rite here you frickin bimbo!" i said loudly trying to pull out of chris's grasp.

"you know you should learn how to control your sister, or maybe just leave her home next time" the girl sneered

"sister my ass, chris let me go!" i tried pulling free agian but he pulled me back hard agianst him twisting me to face him.

he leaned in and began to kiss me slowly so i kissed back and i can hear the girl gasp.

"well hello you guys" and enter cat.i pulled free to see bridgette slid in next to me then lindsay then cat. but then there was still that damn waitress.

"sorry but were just a pretty close knit family" chris said smiling at the girl and she stomped away from the table.

"you should have let me beat her" i said narrowing my eyes at chris.

" as much as i would have loved it, i wanna eat" he said reaching for the ice water in front of him.

"jerk" i hissed under my breath turning to our new arrivals

bridgette who was right in my face had the smuggest look on her face. " we need to talk, excuse us" she said to chris as she pushed us forward out of the round booth.

we both made our way to the hallway that contained the bathrooms before she finally stoped and turnt to look at me.

"i thought you said nothing happened you frickin lair!" she said with an insanely huge smile on her face " i cant believe you, you frickin whore"

"nothing happened" i said

"oh bull what was miss panties up her ass staring at when we walked up in here" she said waving her hand to the dinning area

i felt a blush creep across my face "oh that"

"come on out with it, i so know how were spending that hundreds bucks" she smiled

"no bri it's not like that, im totally done with the bet, im calling it off" i said going to turn away but she pulled me back to face her.

"what the hell is up with you lately tay? i know you, youd be totally going for the throat rite now tearing this bet up, whatever happen to guys that are the devil's dirty minons to break every girls heart? whats going on?!" she said i could see a little flare in her eyes.

"i dont know bri, these last couple of days have had me thinking and chris well this is somthing more than a stupid bet and im not about to hurt him for a measely hundred dollars"

"he'll hurt you, you know that it cant work out, why put yourself through it, just sleep with him and get the hundred dollars and that'll be that, we'll go out everyweekend until we find you some poor little puppy that follow you and obey your every command" she said linking arms with me displaying a wicked smile

i pulled away looking at her " im not like you bridgette, i dont intentionally hurt people! and i said i dont wanna do this stupid fucking bet and if you cant understand that and care about me then why are you still standing here" i said crossing me arms looking at bridgette hard

"fine, but youll see he's just using you and he-"

i walked away from her, sick of hearing what i knew would come next that he would act like he cared and i would fall in love but when i refuse to give it up to him he would beat it to find someone that was not me to give it up to him. i was sick of hearing that that was all guys wanted from a girl and if i didnt cave into it i would be lonely for the rest of my god forsaken life.

i didnt wanna face anyone rite now so i walked out the back entrance that led to the mall. i dont know where i was going but i knew i needed to think.

i was walking around for about 10 minutes when i circled back and passed the entrance to ihop i sat and stared for a minute thinking, bridgette is a bitch but that doesnt mean i have to run out on chris like that, she's probally gone by now, so i decided to head back.

as i came up to the big window that let you look into ihop i scanned the room for where we were seated thats when i spotted that bridgette hadnt left neither did cat nor lindsay and they were also joined by the bitch of a watress. WHAT THE FUCK ISNT SHE LIKE SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING. she had both her hands on chris's upper arm laughing at somthing while he was eating and letting out words between bites. this bitch has it coming.

i flung open the door and stomped my way over to the table and was about to grab the bitch by her hair when i got an idea.

chris looked up from his food. "heyy chris i need to get my money out of the car could i have the keys, i saw a totally cute jacket i want" i squealed like an imbeasoul

he looked at me suspiciously then shook his head as to get any notion out and reached over into his coat pocket to get the keys. i looked over at the blonde who seemed to have a victorious smile on her face like she won somthing, HA BITCH YOU CAN HAVE HIM! as soon as the keys touched my hands i reacted. my fist cloided forcefully with the blondes jaw and i was gone before anyone could saw BOO. i ran out the door and as soon as i got close enough to toms car i hit the unlock button and jumped in. as i started up the car i could hear shouting behind me but hahaha try to catch me in a car bitches!!!

i reversed out of the parking spot pretty WELL almost hitting the car next to me and flipped the car into drive, nice chris thanks for that lesson.

i was doing about 30 coming out of the parking lot until OH SHIT!
