i woke up the next morning alone. i opened my eyes a little to see were gabe was but he was no where in site. i shifted slightly in the bed heaving myself up onto the pillows behind me. i felt as though i was in agony i ran my hands down my face but soon regreated it. i touched my right eye feeling the puffynies and the heat from it. i quickly got out of the bed and towards the bathroom. the door was closed but when i went to open it, it was locked.i knocked slightly on the door, seconds later i heard the lock unlock and gabes voice came through.

"come in!" he yelled through the closed door.

i stepped in unassure of what i was about to see but realized he was in the shower. i walked towards the steam covered mirror and began to wipe it off soon reavealing my bruised eye, i gasped a little stepping back from the mirror. thats when it all came back to me the nite before , what had happened with gabe ,zach, and I. i stood there once hand fealing out the damage of my face it was just swollen and bruise nothing broken but it did indeed look hideious. i was staring off in the mirror when gabe got out of the shower and came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist i hardly even notice i was so invovled with the massive bruise on my face.

"im sorry babygirl" he whispered low into my ear, kissing my neck.

at that moment a flush of anger came over me from the nite before, i pushed his hands off me and pushed him backwards away from me turning to face him.

"what's wrong?" he said in a hurt voice.

"i havnt forgiven you just yet for anything!"i said hotly

"i didnt do anything so theres nothing to forgive!" god he sounded stupid.

"how about last nite at prom the way you acted?! or how about when you were about to let zach drag me out of here and not do anything about it!"i said my voice rising.

"i didnt let him now did i?!" i can see he was starting to get madd.

" well guess wha gabe when you decide to be honest with me about what was going on last nite thats when i will actually like to talked to you!" i said turning and leaving the bathroom marching through the room grabbing my dress off the couch and out the door.

"cassie where are you going? come back here now" he shouted after to me, as i walked up the dirt trail i could see fimlair faces watching the scene.

"get back here when im talking to you!" i could feel him near behind me so i stoped and turned to face him as he caught up behind me stoping short. he was only in a towel one hand holding it on.

"now come back and talk to me like a normal person and not the nut case your acting like" he said loudly with a laugh,oh hell now was he trying to embaress me!

i didnt even know what i was doing until it was done, i reached forward and ripped the towel off him wich was quite easy seeing as though he wasnt expecting it. " whos the nut case now?!" i said turning and walking away.i didnt need to turn around i knew he was cowering trying to cover himself running back to the room.

i walked straight into the main lobby in just a shirt covering to about mid thigh and gown in hand.every eye turnt and stared but i didnt care i was furious.out through the main doors leading to where we were dropped off earlier. i looked around and saw a bench wich was oppcupied by a girl so i walked over and sat down next to her. she looked over towards me i knew she saw the bruise.

"heyy looks like you had a rough nite, want one ?" she said pushing a pack ciggeretes towards me.i took one , even though i am not a smoker. then she slid me her lighter and i lit it up. inhaling the smoke deep into my lungs it didnt burn like the first couple of times i had done it, but as i exahled i felt it burn a little but i was ok with it.

"thanks" i said after taking two short puffs.

"no problem. so eh if you dont mind me asking wered you get that shiner?" she asked eyeing me.

"oh this" i said touching my index finger to my eye " i just got into the middle of a fight and got an elbow rite to the eye, no biggie" i said turning and smiling towards her.

" must have been a pretty intense fight, that looks pretty bad" she said as though she was trying to get a secret out of me.

" yeah it was pretty bad but im okay" and with that the conversation was droped.

a couple minutes passed by with nothing between the two of us i sat in quite smoking my ciggerette and her to her own.  i decided to look over at her and see what she actually looked like. she farely pretty bleach blonde hair and bluish green eyes her makeup just poped on her face she had a dark pink eyeshadow, thick blackeyeliner, and her cheecks were punded on my deep red blush. my eyes moved over her body when i noticed she was wearing a silky blue dress that was no bigger than one of those slutty night gowns and for shoes she was wearing clear stilettos. i was looking down at her feet when a big burrly man cam up holding his hand out to her. she leaned over and dabbed her ciggerette out getting to her feet as the man wrapped one big arm around her waist. she stoped for a second and pulled away towrds me outstretching her hand.

" the names kandee by the way" she sad smiling

i shook he hand "im cassie it was a pleasure to meet you"

"here i think you might want these" she said handing me her cigerrettes and lighter.

"thanks" i said while taking them.

"come on doll you have other clients awaiting you and i need my money by tonight" he said turning towards us and wiking at me.

"im coming gregorio, jesus" she said " a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do ya know" she said as though she needed to explain this to me, and with that she turned and walked away and got into a car with the guy.thats when it hit me she was a prostitute.

it took me a couple seconds to regain myself and think about what situation i was in. the only solution i could think of was to call home see who i got and get them to come and get me. so i took out my cellphone and dialed home.

after about 6 rings somone anwsered.

"hello?" came a male voice.

"dad?" i asked, it sounded like him but quite not.

"cassie?"

"yeah"

"heyy! it's aaron!" he pracitcally jumped at me through the phone.

"heyy what are you doing home?" i asked confused he wasnt supposed to be home until next week

"well i came home early to surprise everyone but i only got mom and dad, they told me you were off to prom! how was it?" i could hear the excitment in his voice.

"it was okay i guess, but heyy aaron is mom or dad around?" i asked.

"no they left for the weekend, why whats up?"

"FUCK!"i shouted into the phone

"woah cass whats wrong?" he asked kinda worried.

"i need someone to come and pick me up" i said trying to think of someone else that would be able to come and get me.

"calm down i will come and get you, mom left me her car" he said calmly

i let out a releaved breath "great can you come now?"

"yeah but theres one problem" i held my breath " i dont know where you are" he said with a laugh.

"oh well you know the cabins over by ronkonkama lake?" i asked hoping he did.

"yeah thats where we all went after my prom, ill be there in 10 minutes"

"great, ill be outside"

"see ya in a few"

we never said goodbye, it wasnt long before we would always wind up together he was i have to say one of my best friends.

like he said 10 minutes later he was there pulling up in our moms nissan xterra. he barely even stoped the car and jumped out and ran towards me i did the same. we met in the middle of the sidewalk crashing together.

"oh my god it feals like i havnt seen you in forever" i shouted as he finally let go of me, but the excitement came to a hault.

"were the hell did you get that from?!" he said pulling my face foward and turning it to get a better view.

"why dont you ask zach!" i said pretty calmly

"zack demic? did that do you?! im gunna kill him" he looked pissed.

"yeah well it would not have happened if he didnt inturept my prom night none of this would have happened me and gabe where-"

"gabe?" he asked narrowing his eyes.

"yeah gabe you know my boyfriend"

"gabe trent?"

"yeah, why are you saying his name like that?" i asked slightly confused.

"cassie there's somthing i need to tell you about gabe trent"

my heart sank 20 feet into the ground after what aaron just said.
