of course i knew who it was. it was gabe. he smiled down at me like nothing had happened; i could tell we were in the limo and we werent alone.

" heyy sunshine i didnt think you would wake up in time" he said in a sweet low whisper

i felt tears flood back to my eyes so i closed them but not in time for one tear to run down my cheek. i felt him move closer to my face and wipe away the tear.

" babygirl im sorry and there is no excuse for how i treated you, you didnt deserve that" he said in the same sweet low whisper as he came closer to my ear and kissed it " i love you"

i knew he meant  it and i felt safe agian. the tears were stll flowing when i opened my eyes to look at him; he looked so sad. i sat up in his lap and kissed him lightly on the neck and said " i love you too"

he broke into a wide grin.

" umm excuse me but you can wipe that grin off your face, i never said i fogave you"

he laughed " yeah, i didnt think you would"

just then i realized i was supposed to check in with my parents

" heyy weres my purse?" i asked confused

" rite here" he pulled it out of his inside pocket

" thanks" i opened my purse quickly and flipped it open and began dialing

" who are you calling?" he asked in a skeptical voice.

"home" i replied

" oh crap i forgot i hope your dad doesnt like hate me now for not reminding you to call"

i finshed dialing. i had gotten my father ad told him i was fine and that we were still at prom and that i was having an amazing time.

i hadnt realized the limo was moving until i sat up straight and onto the seat next to gabe. i had forgotten all about our after prom plans. we were going to rent a cabin upstate for the nite. i had been totally engrossed in all te details for prom i had completely fortgotten to grab some extra cloths for the nite.

" shit" i said aloud

" whats wrong?" gabe asked

" you forgot to remind me to pack cloths!"

"oops, im sorry but heyy who needs cloths right?"he smiled slyly

" oh your such a jerk you know that! you didnt remind me on purpose!" i said astonished that he would pull somthing like this.

he laughed " its ok you can wear somthing of mine, its no big deal"

i just sat there and ignored him

"cass?" he peered into the front of my face

" fine, we dont have to even go if your gunna act like this, but you know i was supposed to be a special nite" he said

" no, no its fine ill wear somthing of yours" i said through gritted teath

"okay" i could hear the satisfactio in his voice. he placed his arm around my shoulders and pulled me towards him.

this was gunna be a long ride. so i decided to dose back off to sleep.
