The night was going great. constantly dancing.i needed a minute to wind down and catch my breath. i pulled away from gave and headed towatd our table the he grabed my wrist.

" where are you going?" he asked

"i need to sit for a minute and maybe get a drink" i said inbetween breaths

"ok, you go sit down and i will get us some drinks" he smiled and turned off into the direction of the refreshment tsnle.

i started to puch my way through people excusing myself as i went. when i got stuck behind a huge mass of people encircling two guys getting ready to fight. i turned around to go off in the other direction when i felt a hand lightly touch my arm, i whirled around to see zack with a huge smile on his face. he got close and shouted into my ear.

"heyy, i was hoping to run into you squirt!"

i didnt have a good feeling about this so i akwardly smiled. i dindnt wanna get gabe pissed off if he say me talking to zack agian.

"wanna accompany me for a walk?" he asked gently

"im sorry, i cant  gabe is waiting for me back at our table" i lied, hje was probally caught up talking to another 100 people he knew but i didnt have a good feeling about zack rite now.

" well okay ill walk you back"

" thanks but-" to late he was already in step next to me and i didnt wanna be a bitch and ive known zack for awhile, gabe couldnt get mad for himwalking with me can he?

when we approached the table of course gabe wasnt there and zack seemedto have read my mind and knew he wouldnt be back for awhile. he sat down and pulled out the chair next to himoffering it tome. i hesitated but sat down anyway.i mean this is zack were talking about here he's my brothers best friend, im like a little sister to him. at the thought of this i began to calm down.

" so hows high school for ya?" he asked

" oh it's fine im doing pretty good and all"

" good, good,you excited for the summer? autta be a good one"

"yeah of course! what about you,your graduating,or are you?!"

"of course" he laughed " only five days of high schoolleft for me!"

" thats awesome! so have you talked to aaron lately?"i asked

" no but thats one reason i was hoping to run into you, does he know your dating gabe trent?" he asked in a whisper

i laughed " no, i wanted to tell him in person,and i want him to meet him, you know he's coming home this week for summer vaca! and-" my smile faded

the look on zacks face was one with upmost concern

" what? is there somthing your not telling me zack?" i asked anger in my voice

" well -" he was cut short

i felt an arm comearound my waist as i felt gabe slide into the seat next to me i looked up at him and this time he was looking directly at me i was so confused what was going on.

" well heyy squirt" i turned my direction back towards zack " have a great time tonite and tell your brother to give me a call when he gets in,it was nice catching up with you" he smiled and shook my hand when i felt him slip a piece of paper into my hand he gave a quick nod to gabe and he was gone.but now i was stuck wondering what the hell he had to tell me.

was there somthing about gabe everyone overlooked to telling me?
