The Only One. Chpt. One

"Dana! Wake up this instent!"

I jolted up and seen my awfull teacher standing by my desk.

"Sorry Mrs.Darrow. It won't happen again. I promise." I looked up at her with innocent eyes.

She nodded in approvel and walked up back to the chalk board. I slumped in my chair and went back to sleep. Luckily, my best friend Roxeanna, who sat besides me durring every class I had, woke me up before Mrs.Darrow caught me again snoozing away.

"And that is how B3+Id5=B Id+B2+Id4. Any questions?" Asked Mrs.Darrow.

Just then the bell rang. I collected my things and started out the door with Roxeanna besides me. As soon as I reached my locker and started putting things away, Principal Flaxing arrived standing next to me.

"Miss Dana I prosume?" He asked shyly.

"Y-y-y-yesss sir?" I stammered trieing to figure out what Mr.Flaxing would want with me.

"There is a new student attending Southside High. I was hoping you could show her around while she gets used to the school.

"I am used to new schools! I told you that already!" yelled the new kid. I couldn't see her becuase she was standing behind Mr.Flaxing, but I could see her clearly now. Her long black hair reached her waist. Her green eyes shined and shimmered in the light of the hallway. Her lips were dark pink and in a fierce frown.

"I am Dana. Who are you?" I said reaching out my hand for her to shake.

"I am Isabella. Bella for short." She smiled and politley shook my hand. Mr.Flaxing smiling, too. He then walked away.

"Glad that is over, aren't you?" She walked away before I could respond. As I stared after her, I noticed I was the only one left in the highschool. I put away my things and collected and placed the things I needed for tonights homework into my backpack and headed out the door to my house.
