I let my hair flow in the breeze.I let all my thoughts go I dont feel like thinking at the moment.Running was a stress reliever.I turned back and Jared was far behind.I remeber when I use to talk to my younger brother Basel.I never understood why my mother named us after herbs.Basel was the only one who ever talked to me and touch me every one else stayed a distance.Basel had black hair and pale blues like mine,he was very tall and lean.He was my only protection until he died,He was on his way to school when a bunch of kids pounded him rocks because he was different like me.Now my only protection is Jared.

I stopped running and fell to the ground and laid there looking up towards the sky in amazement.I laid there for about 15 minutes till Jared caught up to me.He dropped to the sky and breathed heavy.A silent tear rolled down my cheek for Basel.Jared looked and me and wiped what had fallen from my eyes."Whats the matter?"He said in between breathes.He could never understand the pain I went through."Nothing its good to cry sometimes."I just wanted it to stay quite.He seemed to understand and pointed towards the sky except no words came out.

I woke up in my bed I dont remeber walking home last night.Jared was already ready for school.I  jumped up and got dressed quickly and atet something small for breakfast.I went to my first class and as usual everyone avoided me.I was walking in the hall when I saw Jared talking to some of his friends.I went oveer to say hi to Jared and all of his friends took off running."Whats wrong with them?"I asked Jared."Huh oh where did you come from?"

"Ugh why did they run?"

"How was your class?"He asked

"Stop changing the subject Jared."I whispered it towards him.
