So theres this boy, whos name is Jeremy, and I am completely absolutly positively madly in love with him........but lets go to 3rd grade for a while.....it has a lot to do with the story.
August 26th 2003
The first day of school. I am going into the 3rd grade. It is a very big step for me and my classmates. We now are in the upper side of the school. 3rd-6th grade is the upper side. prek-2nd is lower.
My mother drops me off at school. I wave goodbye. As I walk into the lobby side of the school nothing seems to be different. Of course that is the lower side of the school. I walk to a teacher that I've known since Kindergarten. She takes me to the 3rd and 4th grade hall. I have never been in that part before! I see kids rushing the halls, as if they knew what they were doing!
From far down the hall I see a boy. Must be a new kid. I walk up to a classroom that has my name on there wall. I say bye to the teacher and walk in. I don't see hardly any of my friends in this class. Maybe one or two. I look around the class for my name on a desk. I see one in the 3rd row. Ugh! Jordan Guthrie is beside me!!! He was always so mean to me.
I sit there quietly and notice that my friend Jessica is there. I say hi to her, but she walks off with her friend Kristen. About 5 minutes later, a very tall middle aged woman walks in. She says, "Hi Class, my name is Mrs. Sutphin!". Everyone suddenly gets quiet.
"Ok now that everyone is quiet and paying attention I will introduce myself and then you will introduce yoursleves. I'll start. My name is Mrs. Nancy Sutphin and welcome to the 3rd grade at Sherman Elemantary!" she points to a boy two rows in front of me. "Okay honey please stand up and introduce yourself."
He says in a low voice, "I'm Charles Doss." and quicley sits back down. Mrs. Sutphin points to the girl beside him.
She talks chipper like a cheerleader, "Hi, My name is Allison Gray."
Then Mrs.Sutphin says, "Ok we're going by rows so you go- then you- then you- and so on."
(I'll only inrodue the important people of the story now.)(Oh and Allison and Jordan play very big parts.)
"My name is Paige Hauldren." (thats me.)
A boy stands up. He has flowing blonde hair. Very short. He's wering a polo shirt and jeans. He inturupts my thoughts and says dimly "Hey, I am Jeremy Hensley."
Then Allison Gray stands up, but shes on the other side of the room. I look where she was sitting before and shes there.
The other "Allison Gray" says "my name is Shannon Gray. That's my twin sister over there." She point to Allison. Everyone looks and "ooohs" and "ahhs" are thrown across the room.
I knew then that they would be popular. And boy was I right.
September 30th 2003
Not too long after school started had rumor began that Allison and Jeremy were dating. They denied everything. I knew they were, because I could feel my heart being ripped out everytime someone mentioned it. I had a crush on Jeremy! Was it enough to drive me crazy!?!?
