This is a story of a beautiful girl trapped in a world of pain. The girls name is Mari and she is 15. Mari is tall and has long black hair. She has rosy cheeks and a beautiful body. Now you may wonder why she is in such a world of pain. Well I'm going to tell you exactly why she feels so much pain. Mari's parents aren't rich and they aren't poor, but they do have money problems. Its mostly because her dad drinks a lot and smokes weed. Mari feels as if she is trapped in a world of pain , like I have said before. Her dad not only drinks and smokes weed , but beat s not only on her but her mom too. Mari also gets picked on at school because she wears a lot of black and dark make-up. Now that you know a little about her and her family I'm going to tell her whole story and it begins, now when Mari was little they were a happy family and always had fun together. Until one day when Mari's dad lost his job and I know what you're thinking. How does this all start off with her dad losing a job. Well since he lost his job he feel in a deep depression and didn't work for years. The mom had to support the family and work three jobs and you can image how hard that was on the mom. So the mom and dad would get into arguments and Mari would her them curse and say things that would make her cry. Her dad would scream things like, "You're a hoer and I wish we never had a child". Sometimes it would get really bad and her father would beat the mother. Mari would always cut in when she saw her dad hitting her mom, Mari's dad didn't like that so he would push or slap her to get her away. Mari was a fighter and wouldn't give in to her fathers slaps or pushes so he would punch her and she would grab her mom after get ting up from the punch and take her mom to her room. Mari's dad would be mad for days or even weeks then he would say he was sorry and say he will never do it again, but Mari saw right through his lies. Mari's mom couldn't and Mari would try to say that he will do it again, but her mom never listened. So things just got worse and worse for the family. The dad did finally get a job but it wasn't a job he liked at all. So he would come home all pissed off and scream about nothing at all. Which really bugged Mari to death because he had nothing to scream about. Mari was 10 now and didn't have any friends at school, so she didn't have anyone come to her house. Mari didn't even have a birthday party because her parents forgot it was her birthday. You can imagine how sad that was for Mari knowing that her parents forgot it was her birthday. Mari never said anything to remind them because she thought parents were suppose to remember some thing so important. After that day she thought her parents hated her and didn't want her any more and that's not the only thing that made her think that. It was a week after her birthday and she was starting school again and she always hated to go back to school. She hated seeing everyone with friends and she was alone. The teachers always tried to help her get into school activities but Mari said "no its okay I can live without friends". It always made the teachers sad knowing she would be alone in this world. When she got to school everyone looked at her like always and yelled out nasty things like, emo, goth, ugly, weird, fat and a lot of other nasty words. Mari would just ignore these mean comments and she knew all those comments would slowly run out of her body. It was class time now and she sat in the back, like always. Everyone was whispering and she knew they were talking about her and she really didn't care. As the teacher came in she noticed Mari first and knew she was the loner in this class. She smiled and said "hello class my name is Mrs. Rain", everyone smiled and laughed. Mrs. Rain smiled and said "yes I know my last name is weird but in a way its beautiful". As the teacher was teaching a lesson Mari knew she should listen but she couldn't because she had a sliver thing on her mind. She didn't wake up from her reliving day dream until Mrs. Rain called on her. Mari looked up and said "huh? ", everyone laughed and Mrs. Rain said "what's the answer to number 3" . Mari looked at her and just shrugged, Mrs. Rain nodded and said "would you like some help on this number". Mari looked up and said "no I get it I just…" , she trailed off after that. Mrs. Rain looked at her and said "you what'? Mari said "I don't like speaking in front of people that hate me", Mrs. Rain looked at her concerned and said "what do you mean you don't like talking in front of people that hate you". Mari sighed and said "everyone in this school, no everyone in this world hates me and I don't expect you to understand". Mrs. Rain looked at her and said " why would you think things like this"? Mari sighed and turned away and never answered the teacher so she said "I guess you don't want to talk so we will talk about it later". Mari still kept her head turned away as Mrs. Rain walked away. Mari was so glad that it was lunch, so she could do what she has been wanting to do all day. As she walked to the restrooms, she made sure everyone was gone. She walked in one of the stalls, even though she promised not to do this ever at school. She couldn't help it she had to, she felt so much pain inside her. So she got out something sliver and it gleamed from the light that was in the bathroom. She smiled as she saw the thing that made her feel so safe, so in control. Mari could feel the warm blood flow down her wrist and into the toilet. Se smiled as she felt the stinging of the blade against her soft skin. She did it at least four times and patted toilet paper on her wrist to make it stop bleeding. She rapped it around her wrist and rolled her sleeves down, so no own could see. No one really knew if she cut or not, but they would soon find out. The day had ended now and Mari was happy , but didn't want to go home. As she was walking home she could feel the stinging of her cuts and she thought it felt good. When she got home she saw her parents yelling and screaming, Mari sighed and said "must you guys fight when I get home". Right when Mari said that her dad slapped her and said "you have no right telling us what to do". Mari shot back at him with a loud and hard smack, with anger in the dad's eyes he punched Mari right in the mouth. Her mom yelled at her dad and the dad smacked the mom too. Mari walked away and slammed the door to her room. Mari lied on the bed with loud music on drowning out her parents yelling. Mari closes her eyes and imagines a world of her own. A world of no pain just love, happiness, and peace. Her parents are happy together and she has some friends. This wonderful day dream is disturbed with a loud bang on a wall. Mari shoots up from her bed and opens the door wildly. She sees her mom on the floor knocked out and Mari comes after her father wildly with anger. Mari slams him against the wall and punches him in the face and he kicks her in the stomach and Mari goes down. Mari comes back up with no sign of pain, she comes at him with anger in her eyes and fists. Her dad grabs her fists and punches her in the stomach again and she goes down with blood coming out of her mouth. She gives out a loud moan and says "you're going to have to do better then that". Her dad smiles and comes at her with full force and blows 5 punches in her stomach and on in her mouth. Mari goes down and moans as she feels her aching body hit the floor. Her dad turns and says "get stronger before you try to attack me again", Mari moans in pain. She crawls over to her mom and sees her face and eyes. Mari says "come on mom get up please", her mom replies "I'm sorry I didn't want you to come out….I don't want you to get hurt". Mari sighed and said "mom don't worry about me now please get up". Mari helps her mom get up and take her to her room. Mari says "mom your sleeping in my room and I'll sleep on the couch", her mom said "no I'll sleep on the couch". Mari sighed and said "no mom you stay in my room for a few days so dad can calm his ass down and I will sleep on the couch". Mari just the door after she said that so her mom couldn't abject. After her mom feel asleep she got her clothes for tomorrow and blankets. That whole night she never went to sleep, she was afraid her dad would come out and try to get her mom so she stayed up. The next day she saw her dad leave to go to work and she got ready for school. When she got to school Mrs. Rain asked to see her privately and Mari was so not in the mood to be talked to right now. Mrs. Rain took her out of the class and into the lonely hall ways. Mrs. Rain looked at her and said "is everything okay with you Mari". Mari sighed and said "yea I just really don't like talking to people and I don't mean to sound rude but I didn't get any sleep and I really don't want to talk to anyone today". Mrs. Rain nodded and opened the door to her class room the let Mari in. She walked in and Mrs. Rain came after her. Mari sat in her seat and just looked out the window the whole period and Mrs. Rain didn't say anything which really surprised Mari. The bell had rung and it was lunch time and Mari was so happy. Lunch was her favorite time of the day, she gets to sit alone and write poems and draw. She was very good at both and could become a poet or a famous artist. As she was drawing she could see a guy watching her. Mari had never seen this boy before and wondered why he was staring at her. Mari ignored him and he soon lost interest in what she was doing, but he came over. Mari got really worried and confused as to why he was coming over. As he walked toward her he smiled and said "hello my name is Blade". Mari thought wow that worst name to have, well for her it was. Mari looked at him and said "I don't know if you're new or anything but as you can tell no one ever talks to me or hangs out with me". He laughed at what she had just said and he replied "no I'm not new I have been here for a long time and I noticed that a lot". She gave him a smirk and then said "then why are you over here talking to me, I don't mean to sound rude or anything but I really don't like talking to people". Blade sat down and said "why , why would you just yourself out like that"? Mari sighed and said "because it's the most effective way of not getting hurt in this lonely cold world". Blade said "wow you really have strong deep feelings for this world and not good feelings", Mari nodded and got up. As she got up she said ' so please, I don't want to get hurt by you or anyone else". Mari walked away from him and he looked at her as she walked away. It was the end of school now and Mari was walking up. When she got there for once her parents weren't fighting, instead her mom wasn't even home yet and neither was her dad. She expected her mom to get home soon, but she didn't her dad was the one who came home first. Man oh man was he drunk when he came home, as he came in the door he smiled and said "hello sexy daughter". Mari looked at him and said "oh great your drunk aren't you"? Her dad smiled and said "oh damn you look hot tonight", Mari said "dad snap out of it please dad don't even think about what I think your thinking about". Her dad slowly walked over to his daughter and smiled "oh I'm thinking and I'm doing it", Mari pushed him away and said "the hell you are". Her dad grabbed her by the wrists and Mari moaned in pain, straggling to get away from his strong grip. He dragged her into the bedroom and chained her to the bed. She moaned in pain and yelled "stop dad stop"! Her dad tapped her mouth and told her to shut up. He smiled and ripped off her pants and panties and ripped off his pants. He slowly made his way to the bed and Mari wiggled wildly and closed her eyes. He smiled and grabbed her hips and said "the more you struggle the more its going to hurt". Mari stop struggling and felt the pain as he moved inside her. Mari moaned and screamed in pain, as her father continued pushing harder and harder. After forty five minutes of unbearable pain, her dad finally stopped and cleaned himself up before he unchained her. As he unchained her she spit in his face and he slapped her. After that he pushed her out of his room and slammed the door in her face. She ran into her bathroom and ran the shower. She could feel the blood running down her legs and she started to cry. Mari got in the shower and washed her body very carefully. As she got out of the shower she took out her silver friend and smiled at it. She ran her silver friend down her wrist and felt the warm sticky blood run down her warm. She looked at the blood drop on the floor of her bathroom and smiled as she feel back into the shower. She felt so numb, she had never cut that deep before and she felt so good. Luckily it wasn't deep enough to kill her. She lied in the shower for a few minutes and she finally came to her senses and wrapped a towel around her arm and got dressed before her mom came home. An hour later her mom got home and walked into Mari's room so she didn't have to see her husband. Everyone stayed away from each other that night and Mari never told her mom what her dad had done to her. She thought it would be okay not to say anything. The next day was a Friday and Mari was kind of happy. When she got to school she saw Blade and moaned when she saw him. He smiled at her and waved, she looked at him confused. Mari thought did I not tell him I didn't want him around me and I didn't want to get hurt. Blade walks over to her in public and he say "hey I've been waiting for you". Mari gives him a bad look and says "look I don't want any friends, I'm sorry but I don't need them in my life". Blade looks at her and says "everyone needs friends", Mari sighed and said "well I'm not like most people and I certainly don't need friends". Mari walked faster and Blade stood back , but Mari knew he wouldn't stop trying. When class started Mari thought she was going to die, because Blade was in the same class as her. As she entered the room she went to the back and sat down and so did Blade. Mari sighed and looked at him. He smiled and said "I'm not going to stop trying to be your friend", Mari sighed and said "why"? Blade said "I like you, I like how you act and dress different". Mari looked at him confused and said "yea right if you and your other friends are trying to pull a prank its not going to work". Blade said "no , no prank I just want to be your friend", Mari sighed and didn't reply to him she just turned her head. Mrs. Rain saw him with me and smiled and she taught what was needed to be taught. It was lunch time now and Mari was so glad the day was almost over. She walked to the restrooms and looked to make sure everyone was gone and she walked in a stall. She smiled as she pulled out her sliver friend and slid it down her wrist 6 times. She felt the sting and smiled , Mari got lost in the lovely pain that she didn't even notice she was bleeding all over the floor. A girl walked in and screamed as she saw the blood on the floor and that woke Mari from her day dream. Mari dropped everything and the security guard came in and saw the blood. She said "come out of the stall please", Mari refused to come out so the women called the consoler and asked everyone to go back to class. The consoler came in and said "Mari please come out and talk to us, we are here to help you". Mari sighed and said "people don't help people they only put them down and hurt them", Mrs. Heart said "why do you say such hurtful things like this Mari"? Mari gets frustrated and says "you don't know me you don't know what I have to go through and u certainly don't know or need to know why I say these things". Mrs. Heart said " I would like to know", Mari said "oh yea right and I'm a model". Mari got out of the stall and her sleeve was done and said "just let me be and everything will be fine". Mrs. Heart said "I cant do that you have done something at school and we have to tell your parents". Mari rolled her eyes and said "okay yea whatever like my parents would even care go ahead I don't care and neither will they". So Mrs. Heart called the house and left a message and as soon as she left her out of the office she ran and I don't mean ran to her class room I mean she ran away. Mari ran to her house and didn't see anyone there so she packed a few things and got the hell out of there. Mari ran to the park that was five miles away from her house. When she got they her parents had received the message and seemed as if they were worried but they really weren't. When the parents got home the dad complained about Mari and they just kept arguing about her. While that was happening Mari was at the park and laying on the grass. Mari was just thinking about not going home and never going back to school, every one knows know. She knew she could never go back to school ever again, but what she didn't know was that would be were her salvation would lie. As she lied on the smooth wet grass she thought of her mom and Blade. Mari thought thinking about Blade was the weirdest thing, she knew she couldn't like him. She knew she couldn't get wrapped up in someone that would never want someone like her. Someone that would hurt herself for relief, no one wanted someone like that. As she thought this she started to cry, she hated the fact that she would be alone for the rest of her life. As she felt the warm tear drops fall on her arms, she thought of rain and how sad and lonely it seemed. As she thought of rain, it started to rain. She smiled as she felt the rain drops and her tears form together, as if she knew she wasn't alone. Honestly she knew that she really was alone , even though she thought she wasn't. Her feelings were in a tangle of emotion and she thought she would never be able to get them untangled. Mari sat up and looked at the sky as the rain dropped on her soft skin. Tears still falling down her face she got up and walked to the bathroom. As she walked to the bathroom she got out her sliver friend. She smiled as she opened the door to one of the stalls. As she shut that door she knew she was in a totally different world, a totally different life. She felt relief , she felt in control, she felt so many other things that she couldn't explain. As the blade went through her smooth skin she moaned in happiness. She could feel her and put more weight on the blade to make it go deeper, and yet she didn't stop herself. As she lifted up the blade from her skin she saw how deep she had cut and was surprised. She thought she would never go deep, but she also never thought that cutting deeper would make her feel even more relief. So the next one she did out of anger and went even deeper then before and she just kept cutting in furry, not even knowing that the next cut could end her life. She smiled as she saw all the flood on the floor of the bathroom. Mari wanted to do it one more time but she knew if she did she would cut even deeper and that cut could end her life right then and there. So she decided not to, she cleaned up the mess she had made with her red blood and walked away from the bathroom. As she walked out of the bathroom she felt kind of woozy, so she lied on a bench. Mari dozed off and walk up and saw that the sky was a dark blue. She knew it was night already and just smiled while looking up at the stars. Mari loved the stars and loved night, she couldn't get enough of both of those things. While Mari was at the park her mom and dad had enough of arguing and the dad started to beat the mom. The mom finally got tired of his shit while he was beating her and got the courage to standup and saw if he wouldn't stop she would leave and take Mari with her. Her mom knew where she got the courage to say that, it was in her words. She got the courage from her lovely daughter Mari and she kind of thought her daughter of a role model. Yes that sound so weird but her mom realized what she has gone through even though she is doing something she shouldn't, she still looks up to her daughter. When her mom said that the dad just stood there in shock and the mom said " think about that and I will be back tomorrow morning to go look for our daughter". Mari's mom walked out the door happy and proud of herself, but felt so much worry. The dad just stood there for a few moments then went to the refrigerator and took a beer out. While the dad was getting drunk the mom went to a hotel and stayed there for a night. Mari and her mom slept the whole night, but Mari's father stand up drinking his heart out. The next morning the dad was drunk when the mom came to pick him up to go look for their daughter. She looked at him with disgust and said "how could you drink at a time like this, our daughter is alone out there and you sit here and drink"! The dad throws the beer at her and says ungainly like "I …I know this, but I'm not going to go look for her", he says that as he flicks her off. The mom walks to the door and says "how pathetic you don't even have the gust to go look for your daughter knowing she hates you in every way, your to scared to say you're sorry for everything you have not only done to her but put her through". Her mom slams the door and the dad gets another beer as he watched his wife drive away. Mari wakes from the bench and goes to the bathroom to wash up. Mari looks in the mirror and screams "you ugly little bitch"! Mari puts her arm up to the mirror and says "you see that how could anyone love someone that can do that to themselves, you cant even love yourself"! Mari starts to cry, big fat tears slowly run down her cheeks. She looks down at her wrists and take out her sliver friend. She screams and makes a huge cut and this cut starts from her wrist to her shoulder. Mari drops the blade and it gleams in the light, as she falls to the floor. Thinking that she has cut to deep, without even looking. She lays on the floor blood flowing out of her body, she looks at the cut and notices its deep but sadly not deep enough to kill her. She lays there with the numb feeling in her whole arm, she tries to get up but fails. After a few minutes she can hear someone calling her name. Still on the floor she looks up with her eyes drooping barely seeing the image that screams and kneels down. The next thing Mari knows is she's in the hospital in a bed. She looks over and sees her mom, as Mari turns her mom wraps her arms around Mari. As she lifts one arm to hug her mom back her mom says "please hunny don't ever leave again". Mari looks at her mom and starts to cry, as the warm tears flow down her face she sees the doctor come in. Mari wipes the tears away fast and stops crying, like she doesn't want anyone to see her cry as much as she wants to. The doctor looks at Mari and says "Mari you have lost a lot of blood and you had fainted", Mari looks down as he says this. The doctor finishes "we would like you to talk to a consoler to help you get through what you are feeling and we will provide one for you, if that is what you want". Mari nodded and said "I know what I have been doing is bad and I would love to get some help". Her mom and the doctor smiled and said "good". Two days have passed and Mari and her mom have been staying at a hotel. Mari has gotten to see her consoler and likes her very much. Mari starts to think she will get through this, but that all ends at the first day back to school. The next day is the first day back to school and she comes there happy. Mari isn't wearing as much black, to her surprise she bought clothes that had color and liked them very much. Everyone looked at her scared but at the same time really surprised. When she saw Blade her heart pounded like an elephant running. Blade saw her and smiled as he ran to her, she smiled and Blade said "Mari I'm so happy your at school, are you okay"? Mari smiled and was so happy he was talking to her as she replied "yes I'm just fine and hopefully it will stay that way". Blade smiled big now and Mari blushed, she couldn't believe she was falling for him. They both walked together and everyone was so surprised someone like Blade was hanging out with a girl like Mari. When they reached the class room Mrs. Rain smiled as she saw Blade and Mari walk in together. Then and there Mrs. Rain knew that everything would be okay with Mari and Mari would be happy. The day grew longer for no reason and Mar left as if something bad was going to happen. As lunch came Mari felt so strange and she got really scared. As she was walking out of the hall she saw her dad grab her by the hand and put a knife to her neck. He pulled her away from Blade and he saw the knife and screamed for help. Her dad smiled as the security came to the rescue and laughed at them. The security guards yelled "everyone go back to your classes right now is an emergence"! Her dad smiled and said "no matter what you do nothing will keep my from killing her". Mari interrupted the security guards and said "why, why dad please stop I haven't done anything to you". He laughed and said "why, why you've rewind my life with your problems and now your mother is leaving me because of you"! Mari looked down and her father said "you rewind my life by being born"! Mari felt her eyes fill will tears and could feel them fall down her face. After that she spaced out and didn't listen to the background voices saying; let go of her. Her tears falling down her face like a water fall she could feel the knife go deeper into her neck. The police were here now and were surrounding the school, Mari knew she had to make the first move or she would be killed. So she decided she was going to hit him and them get out of his grasp. Mari pulled her head up and hit her dad in the stomach and he moaned. Mari got away but her dad had cut her throat right when she got away from his grasp. Her and her father went down and the police came running, but that hit or the police didn't stop her father. He grabbed her by the leg and pulled her towards her and she kicked and screamed. The police got there and started to shoot him knowing he wouldn't stop unless they did. Her father let go after the third shot and the security guards helped her to the ambulance. As the police walked to the body they realized he had been killed by the third shot. As they took Mari's lifeless body away , Mari felt as if a huge weight has been lifted from her shoulder. Mari was rushed to the hospital and woke up four hours later in a bed with her mom by her side. They both hugged each other and has they both felt the warmth of the hug, they knew everything would be just fine after that. Honestly it did and Mari and her mom got a knew house they could live in. Her mom got a better job and Mari was happy for once in her life. Mari not only had a happier relationship with her mom but she also had Blade by her side. Mari never felt happier, she finally had friends who cared for her like she has always wanted. Mari would never trade this happiness she felt for anything in the world.
