   Why would he say something like that? And the look on his face when he told me he never wanted to see me again. He looked so unsure about what he was saying!

   I drop my bike in the front yard and walk inside. I look around and no one is home? Thats different, normally my mom is home by now. "Hello anyone home!?" No reply, oh well I got the house to myself. At least thats something to be happy about. Yet I can't help but feel like something is wrong.

   I walk over to the fridge to see if there is anything good to eat. Since I gave my drink to Jerret, ha!

   "He'll probably never get that stain out!" I say aloud as I open the fridge.

   I practically fall over as the door swings open. "Oh my god what is that smell!"

   I cover my mouth with my arm as I search through the fridge with the other to find the source. Ah ha, found it! Rotten meatloaf, we had that for dinner...like...a week ago! I can't believe mom hasn't thrown it out yet! I shut the refridgorator door, suddenly my appetite is gone.

   "Well..." I sigh and look down at my cat. "Lets go see whats on TV." I pick her up and walk into the living room. I turn on a couple of lights on the way over to the couch. I freak out easily when I'm home alone. I guess I watch to many horror movies.

   I sit down and let the cat get comfortable. But before I could grab the remote my cell phone rings. So I stand up and grab it from my back pocket.

   "Hello?"

   "Oh, hi mom."

   "Where are you?"

   "The hospital, why are you there!?"

   I let the phone fall from my hand onto the hardwood floor. The screen shatters and peices go flying everywhere. I hardly notice as I remain starring at the wall, still in shock from what I just heard. Quickly I snap out of my trance and bolt outside. I trip down the stairs on the front porch, but catch the railing before hitting the ground. I don't stop to catch my breath. Quickly I grab my bike and peddel as fast as I can to the hospital across town.
