I have always planed to write about what had happened after Eric came to visit us at school. I first came up with the idea of writing this because of those events. You see, since that time many people have started rumors about what actually occurred on December 28, 2007. Some are slightly true, and some are just silly. This story was originally supposed to be an attempt to put an end to most of those rumors.

Well, slight change of plans I guess.

Yes, I will write about what happened.

But only when it’s the right time.

You see even Kathy, who witnessed the whole fiasco, can only remember bits and pieces. She has told me a lot about what happened on that day and the events that preceded it. But I will not go so far as to claim that I know all that Kathy knows. I only know what Kathy has told me and I completely respect her right to keep some of the details to herself (Kathy, this is not a hint!).

And there was a lot more we think going on than what anyone imagined. Other things were bothering him other than what Eric himself had said was to be blamed for what happened. We may never know what happened really. But we sure are going to try and find out.

That is what Kathy is now up to. Out of every one in the world, Kathy was the closest to Eric. Even Eric’s own family believes that. If anyone is going to be able to figure out what happened, it is Kathy. She knows it, and when she is ready her plan is to try and find that answer.

I do not know how long that will take. Kathy could figure it out tomorrow, or it could take ten years. Either way, I plan to keep on writing until we know one way or another what happened.

So that is where we are at right now. I am sorry that I have not taken the time to tell you any stories of Eric in this part, but in the next part for sure I will tell you more about Eric. Thank you for reading this and I hope that you will keep all of us in your thoughts and prayers.
