Okay, so today was my first day back to school as a 14 year old and may I say I’m so different then when I was in my first year of high school. In my first year I had plain brown hair pimples and thick-rimmed glasses. I’m not saying I was ugly I just thought of myself as the opposite to what I truly wanted to be, I was also a bit of a fatty if you get what I mean. In the first year of high school the two things that were going for me was I had guys that as friends and I had big boobs for my age. But now I guess I’ve changed my looks, I lost a lot of weight and still kept my big boobs but the sad bit was I never grew I was still only 5’3 or 5’2. I now had a lighter shade of brown in my hair with blonde streaks, I still had blue eyes and you could see them better since I had contacts. Believe it or not I actually liked to look in the mirror now? My hair was 4 or 5 inches below my shoulders with a large side fridge and I didn’t have anymore pimples, I couldn’t believe how much I changed after a few months but I guess change is good. Oh and by the way my name is Ashlee and I live with my mom and sometimes spend my weekend with dad after they got divorced.

The first morning of school was easy, I set my alarm had a shower then straighten all my long hair which made it shine and get blonder. I put some black eyeliner over my and under my eyes with some blue sparkly eye shadow then made my eyelashes bigger with my great black mascara. After getting all done in the mirror it was now time for me to choose what to wear. My school colours were White or Grey top and black bottoms. The top I choose was a half sheer grey top which was very low cut (I bought it from a retro shop) I loved the top I choose because it was long and tight so I would pull it down over my bum. My next choice was my long black tight pants, I loved to wear this outfit all the time and now I had changed I think it would be cool. I slipped on some old pink and black vans so I was now ready to face my mom to see what she would do when she saw me.

“Hey Honey I’m going to go to work, by the way you look nice” My mom said walking out the door, she didn’t even look at me so she was stupid.

“Okay Bye?” I said taking a large bite into my apple.

I heard her car pull out the driveway and now I was alone until the bus came, I put a little bit of lip gloss on and walked to the bus stop. Three people caught the bus from my bus stop, Jake my best friend who I haven’t seen for a year and  two girls that I knew but I didn’t like.

“Hey Jakey!” I shouted walking to the stop seeing him them

“Do I know you?” He asked walking over to me

“I haven’t change that much idiot” I said giving him a big hug

“Oh my god Ash, is that you?” He asked still not getting it as me

“No duh….”

I guess so far into my story I sound like a little prep, but to tell you the truth this was the first time in a while I wore a t-shirt to school. See I used to cut myself real deep and have serious depression issues, I loved the colour black and I guess I still do. My change makes me look different on the outside, I hope I’m still me on the inside when I get to school?
