Chapter 10 - Angry? The Powerful : Magnus Wave.

Legna and Kim jumped into the warm magma. They started swimming to the bottom of the volcano.
Legna couldn't breath anymore, he didn't know how could Kim, so he looked at her, expecting her to be out of oxygen too. But to his surprise she didn't have trouble at all. She saw that he was having trouble breathing so she started making strange movements with her hands, showing Legna that he was able to breath.
Legna was hesitant, at first, about the idea, but he decided to trust her. Kim was right, he really could breath.
Eventually they got to the bottom. Mermaids were swimming around. Each mermaid had a different hair color, their silky strands were a light tint of green; matching their hair and eyes in a loving manner. They also had small crowns that were made out of pearls on their head.
It was a dark place, but Legna and Kim were able to see everything clearly; thanks to the red magma above them.
There was sand and seaweed where they stood.
The mermaids were swimming around, peacefully.

"Legna?" Kim asked.

"Huh..." Legna just noticed that he could speak, "How is it possible? We couldn't speak before," he asked.

"Ya'know, once you pass the magma you are able to speak" she said.

"Oh..." He looked around and then asked; "So where's the potion of immunity?"

"We have to ask the Mermaid Queen to make it for us," she said matter-of-factly.

"Well, where is she?" He asked.

"There." She was pointing on a green palace. Near it, stood two mermaid guards, that had hayforks in their possession.

"Well, let's go," Legna said as he started swimming towards the palace.

"No, wait!" Yelled Kim.

But Legna who didn't even hear her, already got to the mermaid guards.

"Who are you?" Asked one of the guards.

"Ehm...I..." Legna started mumbling, "...He's with me" said Kim who just got to Legna.

"Oh, Mrs. Kim, please proceed" said the other guard and both of them moved to let Kim and Legna pass through.

While swimming in the green hall Kim began scolding Legna.

"I told you not to go!" She was mad.

"Does it even matter?" He looked at her, rolling his eyes.

"Yes!" she roared, "We had to bring a present to the queen, now she won't be as nice, and that's bad,"
After a few moments Kim sighed in frustration. "Ah, whatever"

Legna and Kim finally reached the biggest room in the palace.

"This is it, and please, don't do anything stupid, ya'know" She was being sarcastic while glaring at him.

"There's no need to glare" He answered with a nonchalant smile.

Legna saw that something big was sitting on a huge conch, it was a large mermaid who was wearing a black oyster on her head, her hair was green, along with her eyes. Huge black casserole was set near her. About a hunder mermaids were swimming around the room.

"Hyello Mrs. Kim" Said the big mermaid, with an awkward accent. Legna couldn't help but laugh. When Kim saw it, she hit him with her elbow and smiled at the mermaid; "Hello, Bellonica".

'Whey ere you here?" Bellonica was speaking as if she was eating something disgusting.

"I need your help" Kim said hesitating.

"Wot doo you nad?" Bellonica was staring suspiciously at Kim.

"T-the Potion of Immunity" Kim was still hesitating.

"Wot?! Bot whey doo you nad it?"

Legna turned his face to the other side. His face was red and his hands were covering his mouth.
Kim looked at Legna, smiled and then looked at Bellonica;

"Vi ere...ehm...we are..." Kim giggled, "...going to use it in order to defend ourselves," she lied.

"Vell," said Bellonica, "Get me de dooragons breith".

Kim looked at Bellonica for about three minutes.

"B...But that's impossible!" Kim was lost, she didn't know what to do. "Don't you have some of the potion leftovers?"

"No, I am vary sora" Answered Bellonica.

"Fine" Said Kim. Bellonica was glaring at Kim with impression.

"You can foind de dooragon in da lava caive," said Bellonica.

"Let's go" said Kim and took Legna's hand. Legna was still red and he was making weird noises, Probably because he was holding his mouth with his left hand, trying to avoid laughing.

They both teleported, and they now stood in front of a cave, red lights were dancing inside of it.

"There?" Legna asked Kim. He was waiting for a negative answer to please him.

"Yep, ya'know, I have a bad feeling about that, so before we go in, lets get ready." Kim was pointing on the Sacred Holy Book while looking into his blue eyes.

Legna opened the book and started searching. But for what?"

"Hey Kim, what am I looking for?" He asked.

"Sacred Spells." She smiled.

"Fine," He answered, "I'll just look for whatever I like."

After a few minutes of scanning the pages of the book he seemed to be excited. "Hey, look at that, this one has no name."

"Let me see," she said, "Wow, I really don't know... just look for some other spells" her statement was firm,

Legna memorized the spell and after he kept memorizing more spells.

"Okay, I think I'm ready," Legna said after twenty long minutes.

"Alright, but before we go, I have to see something" she said and took the Sacred Holy Book from Legna. She opened it and scanned its pages, looking for something.

"There it is!" She was pointing on a spell

"Double shield, teleportation and magic, a spell for two" Legna finished reading the spell's name and looked at Kim.

"Don't look at me, memorize it!" She demanded from Legna. "When I'll give you the sign, use it, we have to be exact with timing, ya'know".

"Alright" he replied and started memorizing.

After another ten minutes they decided to head over into the cave.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

They heared something growling. The deeper they went into the cave, the stronger the growlings were.

Then, they arrived. They were standing in a huge hall, and a big red dragon was sleeping there.

"Okay Legna, this is it, remember, we only need his breath; his fire breath," said Kim and got out her staff, "When he fires, my staff will absorb some of it. Magnus should be really angry when we will wake him up," She looked at the dragon, "So defend yourself".

"M-Magnus?" He stuttered.

"That's the dragon's name," she sighed, "Let's go."

They both ran inside.

"Orokamono" said Kim and made a blue flaming flower out of thin air, then she thre it on Magnus, it exploded.

Magnus woke up and have noticed the intruders.

"Warlocks and dragons, purify his anger," Legna screamed; and as usual, his staff has spread its wings and the material in the purple crystal ball started spinning and glowing. A second later blue waves started spinning around Magnus, finally they hit him which made him go wild.

A blue flame was shot towards them it was Magnus', and it almost hit Legna.

Kim ran behind the dragon so that they both were standing straight looking at the dragon from two different sides. Legna was near the wall, when the dragon was in the middle and Kim was on the other side of the dragon, near the other wall. They were standing on the same line.

"Now!" Yelled Kim.

Legna understoodthat this was the sign to cast the spell.
They both turned their staffs into rings and wore them. Legna remembered, that before they went into the cave Kim told him that she could hand-cast too, if I can, once we use the two people spell".

They both flipped their hands up and started saying;

"Shielding magic..." A grey shield appeared in front of Legna and then another one in front of Kim. It had white outlines and a magical white circle in the middle of it. "...Teleportation and magic..." they both said at the same time, and then the shield's white outlines together with the magical circled started glowing with bright, white light, and they both, started teleporting in a circular motion around the dragon steadfastly.

"...Wishes and lies will tear this sky!" they finished talking and a white magical circle appeared under Magnus, as soon as Legna's and Kim's shields were destroyed.

The dragon tried getting out of the circle but he couldn't. Something was there; and invisible force.

"Good job," Said Kim and smiled, "Now he has to use his fire breath... but he wont use it untill he's almost dead..."

"Let me try." Legna was unsure about what he's going to do.

"Death and pain will be erased from your future..." The wind started blowing beneeath Legna, which made his hair and clothes blow back a little bit.
"...Magic will cross your hear and nurture..." Legna didn't know how to finish the spell, his hands which he was holding upm crossed, and the palms met; which started going back from each other, making some purple-white ball that began growing bigger and bigger every second. It had reached its maximum form; Legna had to release it.

"Oh well, I'm gonna have to invent something," he thought.

"...Magnus Wave!" He finished and then extended his hands forward towards the dragon.
Afterwards, the purple-white ball turned into a continuing wave.

Kim teleported herself next to Legna and made some strange sign with her hands; released the staff out of its ring-form and pointed it up. A pink circular shield appeared around them and small pink bubbled were flying around it.

Legna's spell made a huge explosion, so huge, that the whole cave was destroyed, there was nothing left.

"Wow," Kim breathlessly said, "ya'know, that was amazing, but ya'know, the best part is that!" She pointed at her staff, its small crystals, were glowing with red light.

"Awesome" Legna was happy.

"Alright, let's go back." Kim said and took Legna's hand, after an instant they both appeared inside the mermaid's palace; infront of Bellonica.

"Here it is," Said Kim and flames flew out of her pink staff, towards Bellonica.

"Goot Goot," Said Bellonica with a smile and threw the flames into her casserole. Few minutes later bubbles inside of it started bubbling and the material inside of it turned into golden-red.

Bellonica took a bottled and filled it with the golden-red material.

"Hyere you goi," Said Bellonica and handed over the potion to Kim.

Kim smiled and said, "We got the Potion of Immunity, what's next?"
