Tempting Wish [ 4 ]

Chapter 4 - The Staff

On the next morning it was still raining, and it was very noisy.
Legna opened his eyes and saw some kids from his new school staring at him. Suddenly he though about something, "Did they see my wings..?", Legna jumped up on his feet and was amazed to find out that his wings were gone, together with his white clothes.

"It was just a dream?" Legna thought happily, "THANK GOD!!!" he was so glad... But a minute later he looked at his hand and was terrified to find out that the paper was still there, he rolled the paper and opened it, the paper was empty except for a small picture, it was a picture of a ring with letters on it, saying: Take it off and the inside letters said: LegnA. "Didn't my dad tell me about some kind of ring that was on me when he found me?" Legna thought it was very odd.
Legna decided to skip school and ran back home.

"Dad??" Legna ran inside his house trying to find his dad. "Dad where are you?" he kept asking.
"Welcome back Legna. what's the matter?"
"Well, do you remember that ring that was on me when u found me?" he asked suspiciously.
"Yea, what about it?" his dad replied. "Well, i want to see it, do you still have it?", "Yeah, its somewhere here let me find it" His dad said and ran upstairs to find it.
"Oh, here it is" Legna's dad came back carrying the ring, "Here you go" he handed over the ring. "Thanks dad". As soon as Legna touched the ring it started glowing, brighter and brighter with white light, eventually it turned into a big white staff with purple lanes all over it, and on top of it there was a purple crystal ball with small white wings coming out of it.

"Hey dad look at this!" Legna stared at the staff while his dad was trying to realise what is going on. "Wow look, some letters appear inside this crystal ball"; L e g n A "hey its my name!" Legna was excited. "Hey, you better check this out, leave the staff like that and come look at your name from the other side, when its written backwards" His dad said nervously. Legna kept his arm still and moved himself and his head to see what was all the fuss about; A n g e L "ANGEL?!" Legna screamed, "Aw come on, so it wasn't a dream i really am an angel this is so wrong" he cried. "What do you mean by it wasn't a dream ?".
"Oh, i forgot to tell you dad.."

The same evening Legna told his dad everything, about his class-mates , about his dream and about everything, and then when he got to the paper with the levels part he brought the paper and opened it, a very surprising message appeared there, he didn't expect anything to be written there

                                      Angelic Staff

                  There are a few rules that you have to know before
                  you will be able to use it.

1. To use healing spells - Throught the darkness and the light i shall protect you with my might, ALCURE.
2. To use attacking spells, there are many ways and many spells, that is why you have to change a few words depends on what you use, if you're an angel you will not have any problems.
   - Darkness beyond twillight, crimson beyond blood that flows, Burled in the flow of time. In the great name, I pledge myself to darkness. All the fools who stand in our way shall be destroyed, by the power you and I possess~
   In order to change the spells, you have to change the "Darkness" into something else.
3. If you have any spells in mind that you would like to try, just swing the staff and say some words, make it logical so you will not mess up.
4. Tempting Wish - the greatest spell, and only the first level is allowed to use it.

Legna finished reading it and was interested at the last spell, Tempting Wish... what does it mean?

"Legna?" Legnas dad tried to get some attention.
"Oh, yea dad? im sorry, what happened?" Legna replied, "You, you are staring at this empty white paper? what happened?" he kept asking Legna, "Huh? can't you see what is written here?",Legna asked. "No, there's nothing here". "Oh..."

"Well, let me try something, did you get hurt lately?" Legna asked his dad, "Well... Actually i did, look at this scar on my leg, it will probably stay there for a very long time.." His dad replied. "Ok then i want to try something!"

Legna took the staff and was pointing with it on his dad's scar, and then he started saying the words that were written on the paper;
"Throught the darkness and the light i shall protect you with my might, ALCURE."

The staff's wings grew big and some material inside the crystal ball was spinning and glowing with a strong purple light.
Legnas dad couldn't understand what Legna was saying but he was feeling something... he looked down at his leg, and the scar was gone, small white balls were surrounding the place, where the scar was, and about two minutes later they were gone.

"This is interesting" Said Legna but he didnt notice that something was going on outside of his house, red eyes were glaring at both of them through the window, something evil was about to happen, but what?
