She spoke highly of her family, not relations but a guild.  One of many different people who have one thing in common - the lust for survival.  I had already triumphed my biggest survival when I let go of my past.  Of course, everyone see things differently.  Upon asking her for more information about this guild of hers, she politely asked me to join.  Thinking to myself - what have I got left to lose?  I accepted with great pride.

“Silly me, I forgot to get your name” chuckled Tizana.

“I am Aradae Raine,” I answered.

“Lovely, I am Tiz-” she cut herself off then spoke again.

“Raine…did you say that was your surname?”  She questioned nervously.

“Yes…is something wrong?”  I asked.

“No, but this will sound silly…we have been waiting for you - someone with that name” her face gleamed with joy.

I was beyond confused.  She explained to me how the Withered Aegis was to be defeated by the chosen, ten brave souls bearing their blood creating a special weapon called the “Black Dragon”.   A guild was formed, named “Order of the Black Dragon” to become a family strong enough to help the chosen with their journey.

Sitting down, I needed a moment to re-calculate this information.  That explains my father’s behavior and his secret meetings…the horror I witnessed.  Why? - I thought to myself, how could this happen and why me?
