My arrival to this new land was better than expected.  The thoughts and images of being shunned because of my race danced in my head throughout my journey.  The idea of turning back hit me several times but I was not going to give in.  Amazed I was to see such beauty and vibrant colors.  I was like a child who had received a present for the first time.  Words cannot describe my emotions at that moment.

I rested against a tree, then it was decided that I would become a great Shaman, a great leader - someone who my father never wanted me to be.  I would do it for my mother and my sister, who never got a chance to be.  They are in a greater place now - far greater than in my father’s sadistic grasps.  It was understood I would have difficult tasks ahead of me.

I had meager currency and few items.  I found an Inn and settled down for the night, in the morning I shall find a trade skill.  I awoke around noon, the sun showering me with warmth for the first time in ages.  I consumed a small meal, which in turn was a feast for myself.  Clothing was needed - as well as a shower.  I found a small consignment shop and bought what I could afford.

Remembering the last season my mother was around, she had taught me how to sew.  She made all our clothing and sold some as well.  I had always enjoyed making things.  Looking down at what I was wearing - I smirked to myself, first thing was to make myself something then focus on selling.
