My Story - The Beginnings
|
My story background. Okay so this is my story. Well it’s my story up until the main stuff started happening. So this is me up until 8th grade year….
I was the usual outcast. I was me, and I wasn’t afraid to show it. I had three siblings. Two older brothers, who were actually half-brothers, and one younger, biological, brother. My parents, my brother, and I all lived in a small community since I was four. I had one person who was my best friend, and other than that…. I had no friends. I was an outcast… not because I had a sketchy past, but because I was out-going, loud, obnoxious, and loved to be me and live life.
My home life was simple. My parents fought a lot, but never hit each other. I was always getting in trouble for talking to much, teachers loved me, and my classmates hated me. It was like that all through elementary and middle school. My parents split up for a while every once in a while, and at one point separated for a few months. My dad only came back because I begged him to.
When my parents were separated though my grades plummeted, and I was a wreck. This was fourth grade. I was still an outcast with a few more friends, but not many, and I was always severely picked on by my peers.
Middle school wasn’t any better. In fact it was much worse. The person that had been my best friend since we were toddlers and I grew apart. We became enemies, but I gained quite a few friends. I was moving out of my outcast ness, and moving on into the mediocre level of student life.
I had always struggled with self-esteem, and weight, among other things because my peers were always picking on me and such, but it never really got seriously bad. Though my peers seemed to get worse as the years went on leading into the life of me during eighth grade. That’s when my whole world was turned upside down and couldn’t do anything about it.Looking back now I realize that the pressure from my peers, the harassment from peers, and the pressure from my parents led to it all, but it all came crashing down eventually.
