Koga felt a light breeze flow over his body, an image of his parents floated past his mind followed by others of his brother and the fields that stretched on for miles. Then they were pushed aside and replaced by pictures of slashed bodies and lifeless eyes, all the terrible things people had done but they paid for it with their lives. Then there was a warn presence, his eyes fluttered and a blurred image sat beside him, lightened by the glow of the fire “Kiki” he whispered. The blurred figure jumped up and lent over him, he raised his hand and ran it over her smooth skin. Then everything became clear and all he could see was Kiki’s beautiful face looking over him. “Are you okay? How do you feel?” Koga tried to sit up but grabbed his head and fell back down “Don’t move so fast. Here.” She held out one hand and put the other behind his back. He took her outstretched hand, slowly and painfully he pulled himself into a sitting position. “What…What happened?”

“You were hurt, a wolf managed to slash your shoulder” he reached for his shirt but found no sign of a scar “It’s alright. I healed you in time for your body to fight the curse” She smiled at him “You just need to rest now, and eat if you can”

“Yeah food, is there any of that available?” Kiki laughed at his softened voice happy to find he still had his quirky personality.

Kiki sat by the fire after the others had gone to sleep. Somehow she still felt the presence of the werewolves but there was no sign of a scent. She stroked Kia on the head and rolled out her bedroll next to Koga’s. She pulled of the bloodied cloak and threw it into the fire and watched the flames engulf it, she took off her jacket, shirt and jeans then pulled on a silk

shirt that just cover her long elegant tail and slipped under the covers. Her eyes closed and she had just about drifted off to sleep when a warn hand trailed up her side. She ignored it seeing Koga was half drunk but she had to admit she felt a lot safer than she did before.

Koga felt Kiki move beside him but he didn’t dare move just incase he woke her.

After the amount of sleep he’d had during the day he woke a long time before any evidence that the sun was rising. Kiki rolled into him and snuggled closer, He smiled and put his arm around her waist and pulled her closer.

Koga slowly moved away from Kiki’s embrace and walked silently to Salina’s side. He touched her shoulder and She jumped but Koga steadied her “It seems we have company” Salina rose from her bed roll but fell back down and covered herself when she realized all she had on was a small shirt that didn’t cover much “Turn around you idiot” she scowled at Koga. He laughed and walked away from her, but she rejoined him not long after. “So, what is it?”

Kia growled as a pitch black wolf walked into the camp. It seen Salina and ran for her throwing himself into her open arms “DOM!!!” Salina screamed, waking Kiki up in the process

“Salina’s brother. And the wolf is her most loyal and best firend and Kia say’s she can smell something else to” Kiki put her nose to the wind and sniffed “There’s something familiar…yes the scent IS like Salina’s”

“See that’s where you’ve gone wrong then, Where ever the wind blows there you will find me” Koga took Michael’s hand in his and shook it violently.

Salina bent down and hugged the black wolf “I’m so glad you’re here.” Salina turned and called Kia, the little grey wolf ran to her with her tail between her legs “Kia this is Freedom…or just Dom to us” Freedom sniffed the new female, deciding she was no threat to his master, he greeted her with a gentle lick on the nose.

After everyone had been introduce and reunited they settled down for the second time that night. When morning broke, Kiki opened her eyes to find Koga’s body so close to her that she could feel the warmth coming off him. She closed her eyes again but decided against going back to sleep, they still had another 7 day’s ride before they reach the base of the mountain and now with Koga being so weak he couldn’t shape shift so he would have to double. Kiki pushed Koga a little and he forced his eyes open, to see Kiki so close and not minding it he smiled “Well good morning!”

“Morning, sorry to have to move you but we really should be going. We have a long day ahead of us” Koga pulled a sad face on Kiki, but all she could do was silently laugh into her hands. “Come on” She pushed him away from her so she could get up, she walked to her pack and pulled out a white silk shirt and a pair of black jeans. She pulled the jeans on under the gown she had warn the night before and stripped off her shirt with her back facing the camp. She pulled on the silk shirt and tied a blue, black and purple corset around her waist; she turned to find Koga looking at her extremely embarrassed “You look like a child that’s just stolen from the cookie jar”

“I did steal but it wasn’t a cookie from a cookie jar” He smiled at her but his face was still red hot. They woke the others and packed up camp they ate and got ready to leave. “Michael, are you alright to ride with Salina” Michael nodded and mounted behind his sister. Koga walked up beside Chester and put his hand on the big roans nose “Your going to have to carry the both of us today buddy” he smiled and patted his neck. Kiki swung her leg over the saddle and gave Koga her hand; he took it and swung up behind her. He slipped his arms around her waist and relaxed. Kiki turned her head slightly and whispered “Don’t go getting too comfortable. If hands wander I might just be forced to use magic”
